A Small World by akai_0okami

ss2.png A Small World is a game where you create snow globes for customers.

Instructions:

  • Create a snow globe following the customer's description.
  • Left-click to select parts, right-click to select a second figure.
  • Each snow globe must have a base and ground before you can add other parts.
  • A small snow globe must have one figure, a medium must have one figure and one background object and a large must have two figures and one background object.
  • Once you've finished your snow globe, click the tick in the bottom-right.

(The fall parts can be selected but they don't do anything 'cause I ran out of time.)

This game is unfinished but I got the basic gameplay done, might finish it at a later date if I feel like it.

Good idea & concept, the content is for now a bit poor which makes the game pretty repetitive.

I like the concept, but it lacks depth. Also, snow totally occurs in nature.

Too bad you run out of time, the concept is great and I very much like the interpretation of the theme.

I like the idea of this, but like others have said it feels a bit unfinished. Also, I couldn't find out how to select two figures for the big snow world. The requests I got before that were a bit easy.
If you do continue with the game, I'd try to add some more options for creativity for the player. There are many options here! Also, maybe you could add some sort of management system. For example, you could get money for the snow globes you make, or have upgrades to make new snow globe parts.
I liked this interpretation of the theme!

I liked it, the graphics were cute ! but it needs more combinations because it were a bit repetitive.

I think this could be cute and fun if you continue with it. I can see it integrated with a story where the requests start out "normal" and then get crazier as you continue with the game, with the player having to buy weird upgrades to fulfill a request. Hmmm ... what would an alien want in its snowglobe? :)

Nice job. This was really relaxing. However, it could be better if there were more gameplay options. Right now, there aren't too many different snowglobes you can make. It would be great if there were more. Nice work!

Neat idea, rather relaxing to play, and a decent take on the theme.

Wasn't sure if there was any sort of "victory condition" or not, so I did end up quitting after making about 10 snowglobes.

This might make for a nice mobile game, say for tablets or something.

Oh my god, this is my favorite entry so far! Very original theme and mechanic. The music is superb! It really fits the theme. It kind of reminded me of Ryan Ike's work on Glittermitten Grove. Maybe the diversity of things to make could be expanded, but please make this a full game. It made me feel very relaxed, as well. Congratulations, team!

This is a real cute game and I enjoyed playing it. Excellent take on the theme!I can see this being fleshed out as a management game of some sort! Very Nice Work
