NEW KEYBOARD VERSION!! (only updated controls, making it so more people can play the game)

You can play either 2 controls or 1 keyboard with 2 players

2 players procedural 2d rythm platformer playing incompatible games, but they need each other to not lose!

This game is about one player running from the darkness, and the other pumping his heart. Whenever the Player 1 moves and do actions, more volume or blood will enter in the heart. More volume means more buttons to push for the Player 2. The darkness makes the rythm of the heart go faster, so be careful and run from it!!

* Player 1: * Avoid obstacles by jumping and run from the dark. You can break some stuff too! - Xbox 360: Jumping (Button A), move (Joystick), break stuff (Button X). - Keyboard: Jumping (Space), move (Keyboard Arrows), break stuff (M Key).

*Player 2: * Pump away fears. - Xbox 360: Purple balls (Any button), yellow balls (Left or Right back triggers). - Keyboard: Purple balls (Z Key), yellow balls (X Key).

The art of the game is amazing!, however it is a pity that the controls have to be with gamepad.
Nice work!

@Pablocg @HKoisumi We are going to include a version with keyboard controls (and only that, so more people can play our game), I'll notify you :)

I like the idea of asymmetrical multiplayer, however I can't see how it fits the theme. Anyway it's fun if you actually play it with another person.

Reached level 4 alone! XD
Excellent entry here! Love the animation. The keyboard controls help to play with another buddy.
Great job!

@mahdi-daneshvar the game itself it's incompatible to play, cause the two genres, however you need a friend to help you going through the levels. That's how we thought about the theme!

I don't have a friend to play with, so it was pretty difficult. Really liked the art, though! And the movement felt smooth and intuitive.

Great entry! Everything is solid - art is great, music/sounds are good and movement is nice.
Don't have a second person here right now but even solo it's quite a fun and interesting game!

Super fun and valid combination of genres, I like the idea of having both players responsible for different aspects of gameplay with different styles of gameplay it's very innovative. Sure, there are rhythm platformers but making a game that's both a rhythm game and a platform game is a unique twist. I'm going to come back and play this some more with a second person.

Great job!

Great Game! The movement was really good and responsive. It has a lot of potential if you follow with this idea by adding more mechanics and a scoring system?!?!

I loved that combination, but it did not seem to be working properly with the keyboard.

I left my rating of your game, thanks for play my game, Witch's Escape.

I hope you continue with the project.

Your art and mood are on a very high level.
Cooperation gameplay is working, and cooperation is always fun (if you have a friend near you :).

I have some comments for a possibility that you will improve the game later :D It's hardly to tune perfectly code-generated levels, but your result is good for LD time restrictions. Platformer part is easy sometimes, sometimes I dreamed about a controlled height of jumps with a time of pressed spacebar to pass some tricky generated level part. We also have a problem with remembering what color is equal what fear icon, because of pulsing "X" on a heart, probably.

I love the graphics, audio and the mood. Since I don't have someone to play with, I played both roles. It would have been a lot easier for solo players if there is no breaking of stuff. I love the combination of rhythm and platformer. Overall great job on this game! Keep making games.

Very interesting combination of games. I'm really bad at rythm games, and kept forgetting which button went with which color. Arrows or symbols would have helped a ton to let me know which one I was supposed to push.

Brilliant! This game is SUPER polished. I love the the art direction to this. It had a darker yet childish spin that reminded me of Super Meat boy, but still had it's own flair. The music really cracked me up xD Over all terrific job! Well done!

Finally got a chance to test your game back. This entry is quite amazing. I didn't have a second player with me though, so I had try soloing the thing and playing both roles, which made it extremely difficult for me, aha. Great game.

I was trying to play alone and I did it almost 5 minutes hahahaah... Anyway I had to play with my flatmate, which is very good. I love cooperative games and I think this is a great one. I liked a lot the graphics and the music of course.
However, I think the dark hands are too fast at the beginning, but it is only a perspective, so nice job with the game! :D
