Description

Fowlcard is a game that combines the genre for card games and simulation(rearing livestock) games. Keep up the number of your fowls as long as you can. Protect them from the predating wolves and snakes.

  • Health (♥) - The life points of each animal. When it reaches zero, they dies.

  • Threat (♠) - The amount of damage dealt when attacking (for predators) and counter-attacking (for preys).

  • Nutrient (♣) - The value needed to breed new offspring.

  • Experience (♦) - The value needed to grow/evolve.

Really like your take on combining one genre with a card game. Only weird issue I noticed was my owl's health doubling during the day (and leveling him up during the day to get some huge health pool of 12k  ).

@jBASSr, the owl is really intended to double health (while sleeping) at day and double threat to counter-attack at night. I just hadn't had time to do game balancing and missed a few bugs..

Interesting game.... Gotta admit, it took me along while of poking and prodding to figure out what does what. In the end, I just keep using cards s they come without any real strategy, though I imagine you would improve on the card part in the future. Looking forward to seeing the updated version, if you decide to continue!

Cool idea a the owl is so beatifully OP :owl: :punch: but the there's seems to be no reason to do do anything else but to play the cards immediatelly. With a bit of redesign, it could provide more depth. Also, the artstyle maight be too cutesy for the wolves and snakes (I know it's pre-existing assets, but still).
