Cardey (VR Only) by shadowbrain
A game about throwing cards in holes!
This runs on SteamVR, so any VR headset with tracked controllers that works in SteamVR should work with it.

if you want to you can check my game here:

They're probably the most affordable ones out there atm and they're quite decent. :)
Problem is if I kept repositioning the player I also had to check the surrounding area to make sure the player doesn't get positioned inside the wall, didn't have the time for adding such checks so I had to compromise, which is why the player only moves if you hit teleport pads, more control over where the player went.
A post-jam version could potentially be more golf-like, I wanted to add multiplayer to it as well as a level editor so that might become a thing.
>Dude, all you need to do is juice it up. + the ability to stick(embed) cards into things would be dope.
You game is so hard. It is definitely good, but so very very hard.
How dare you set up my expectations that it is possible to get that tiny card in the whole within three throws.
Since this was inspired by golf, I expected to be able to teleport around.
Besides the difficulty level, everything else seemed very polished.
I only wish there was a more obvious queue about which level I was on when I switched to level two. At first I thought the barrier was a portal to level 2.
BTW, we're still a couple reviews short for our own VR submission, so we appreciate any feedback: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/the-ultimate-magic-duelling-tournament-vr
Ultimately I had to give up on hole 8 after 1025 throws... but I saw the final one in the video (a skip level button, maybe after ~100 throws, would have been nice).
This was really fun, but maybe should have been named "Cardey-O" ^_^
My favorite feature was probably rotating the starting pad, it allowed for me to change the world a bit to get more comfortable with the throwing angle (important when your bad at disc golf like me, and have to throw hundreds of times ^_^). Good work!
