Invent the Wheel in 15 minutes or less! =) Combining Puzzle + Clicker: in puzzle you need think to win, in clicker you play to not think (at least me). Screenshot2.png)

This game has a ton of potential. I think what you were going for in terms of creating a relaxed puzzle game is really smart, and you did a fantastic job of achieving that goal. I would really enjoy to play this game in my spare time or on my phone. However, there is something majorly wrong with the upgrades. They're actually downgrades. I don't know if that's intentional, or if it's because of an exploit that needs to be fixed. But basically, the play gains IQ from each click. So it benefits the player to click every single grid cell as many times as possible without triggering it. Upgrading the IQ gain just reduces the granularity of the player's control. Auto-clicking is a serious waste of resources, because you basically can't take advantage of that extra IQ gain and still win. You could literally just make all the upgrades their opposites and it'd be more balanced. But realistically, I'm guessing you didn't actually intend for players to be able to click on other grid cells after committing to one. Other than that, it's actually a fun game.

It's a very nice game! It looks/feels quite polished. Some constructive feedback: The enemy AI is really poor. Also, the game got harder as I bought more upgrades; because my slave's AI was equally poor I wanted to click on a square before he would go to work and that put pressure on my decisions, often resulting in poor tactics or straight-up missing that the opponent was about to score.

@pebkac, AI is minimax algorithm, so I vary it's deepness. For this version it increases by 1 every level. So 3rd level is much smarter than 1st. I also added chances of dumb random move for the opponent, it also decreases every new level. So you can risk and win faster.
Thanks for your feedback, I will try to balance it better!

It was fun at first. but get tedious the more I play. Anyway good entry. We also make a cinematic game with pixel art. Mind to check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/daxua

@david-boeger, David, awesome feedback and ideas, thank you. Yes, clicking every cell is exploit for me. Probably I should give more reward for winning and less for clicking =) Didn't have enough time to balance this things with excel.

Jam theme required me to combine two game plays. So if you choose IDLE mode, then Neanderthal and Pterodactyl can solve the puzzle for you in a background tab :D

Fun little idea. I didn't always understood all the zooming in and out of stuff, and sometimes it was really easy, but the graphics are great, and the text is cool too. Great job!

Not entertaining for a longer period of time, but definitely very innovative (5/5). Had fun playing it.

PS: Extra points for LibGDX

The inception part was interesting as a level-up mechanic. Well done.

Interesting idea, but progress was a little slow for my taste. I know it's kinda in the name of the genre, but it just takes a lot of clicking (and/or time)! The depth concept combined with tic-tac-toe wasn't quite interesting enough to keep me playing. For a clicker/idle/incremental game to be compelling, I think it needs to introduce new mechanics, or tell an interesting expanding story, or slowly evolve the gameplay in interesting ways. Even if it's just unlocking new snippets of text or new images, I think it really makes the progress feel worthwhile.
