This was my 3rd Ludum Dare. It is a simpler game than my previous entries, but this was the biggest challenge yet. Why?
Time... time... It was my wife's birthday this weekend and I spent most of the weekend playing with the kids, getting birthday gifts, celebrating the birthday, riding motocross, and spending time with my family. When 10 hours remained of Ludum Dare 38 I had put about 5 hours into making the game. I finished the game a couple of minutes before the deadline. Total time spent on game, approx 15 hours. Detailed video and Post Portem will follow =)
Sill, I hope that you enjoy the game! Available in WebGL and Windows download.

@gamingdudester - Did I do a typo of my nick somewhere? =)

I managed to get a score of 2730. If you beat it (with a YouTube video to show it) you get my Universal Sound FX sound pack for gamedevelopers (5000+ sound effects) for free (http://www.universalsoundfx.com/game-ready-sound-packs.php =)
I played this game on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/139973818 - time 2:33:10
Also enjoyed watching your timelapse

It needs a bit clearer instructions, because it took me a while to understand the mechanic (and the asteroids are pushed very slightly, I simply didn't notice it at first). You know what would greatly help? If in menu it was shown (a clip, or actual auto-gameplay beneath the menu) how to proceed.
The gameplay, after you get the machanic down, is very relaxing and fluent. A sphere or voxel sphere would add a nice polish, but a cube is also fine :) I found myself playing quite a bit.
I like your project, i think it would do just fine as a mobile game for example. I'm glad I found it, and I hope you'll gather enough ratings!
Cheers!
It's quite difficulte though, but once you get the physic logic, it's really fun.
The more you take, the less you can defend, it forces you to become very effective with your last missiles at the end ^^
I love the discret but nice music in background, and the sound of explosion is satisfying :D
All that in compo, so again, congrats!
Nice game!
aside from that, the basic mechanics are intriguing but not used to their full potential, I think.
Got a bit stale after a few minutes.
But considering this is a Compo entry it's still very impressive what you managed to pull of in that short time.
Enjoyed playing :)
At first I didn't realize that the planet is the cube. I've always liked Missile Command and this is a nice take on it. I like how each cube has one rocket. Something about the way you shoot rockets make it really hard to time the deflection. Apart from that, it's a really nice one :)
