I Live-Streamed this game this past evening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfvbUFJnui4

I think the AI is what frustrated me, the AI should be slightly easier to escape from, and I had some trouble with identifying the targets from the photo. The easiest fix I'd do is make them slower than the player so the player can run from them successfully.

Looks like a lot of fun! If you can, make a web or Mac build, and I'd love to check it out!

Cool concept, I found it well balanced. Nicely done on the graphics too. The truck is especially nice with it's smooth gradients. The same stuff on the characters would have been great, but kudos for making that many variations anyway.
Little detail: having to use E then mouseClick is a bit disturbing, it could be the same input !

Graphics are pretty good, I laughed a lot! The controls are really comfortable and you get a great experience while you are walking in first person (that is not easy to make it). By the way, there is not audio but walking sound is enough.

Great game! Nice of you to include gender/sexuality choices. I loved the graphics! Very nice style. One time I got a game over for no reason I could tell. I think an ex snuck up behind me. Maybe a notification sound would help. Good job!

I liked the concept and the 3d environment. I feel, however, that after delivering a couple of gifts the lack of challenge makes you lose interest. Maybe some music was needed to suggest some sort of narrative. Anyway, congratulations on thinking outside the box.

Why does the gender and sexuality matter at all?

First off, thanks for letting the player select their gender/romantic orientation. It's a small touch, but too many developers making similarly themed games will make assumptions in that regard.

Because the game involved watching the minimap so closely, I would have preferred if it was a bit larger (I played this on a small screen). My other complaint is that there was kinda a cynical undertone. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I personally found it off-putting.

I did like the art style. The people were easy enough to make out in the crowd, and the city was vibrant and colorful. I can't say I personally found the gameplay itself to be the greatest thing, but I think that was more a matter of tastes than any problem with the game.

So yeah, I think it's a good game that just didn't resonate with me personally, so try not to take my feedback too seriously ;)

First off, this is easily my favorite creative interpretation of the theme so far. Awesome concept.

The execution is also very polished. You don't see a lot of LD games that actually implement a minimap! The in-game field-of-view cones are also a good touch. However, the AI for your ex-partners can be frustrating at times. This one lady just decided to stand right in front of my delivery truck and stop moving for about 30 seconds. I can see why I broke up with her!

I felt like the game was missing some kind of time pressure. You can basically just stand on the side lines and just wait forever for the perfect moment to deliver your gift without any danger of being caught.

Also, I like having the gender choices at the start, but I'm curious why the game doesn't let me select *both* male and female partners?

Great job with the art, too. The characters were quite varied, which is obviously important to the gameplay. The environment was also good, and it fit well with the characters and gameplay. I do wish there was some music to help set the scene.

Awesome idea for the game! I love the way you made the firstperson feel real. Stealth mechanics is simple but honest and easy to understand and I love it!

Haha, awesome idea and good execution. Was very fun to play and I really liked the humor. My only criticism of the game is the lack of music and a little lack of polish but those are just some minor points. Still enjoyed this game a lot. Great work!

Yay another socially awkward game! Funny concept and well executed. The option to choose gender of yourself and your interests was very good, though as some have pointed out you could have allowed for the player to make any kind of combination there really. Also it would have been nice if the game remembered what setting I made and not defaulted me back to man likes women. Still very good to have the option at all. In the game, I would have liked there to be a danger-zone before the caught-zone perhaps the exes could start follow so you have to run away from them? But the main point is that I was spending most time looking at the mini-map instead of looking at the world. And that was kind of a pity. I would have liked to also get to deliver wrong one or two times without loosing. That getting caught was death, that I agree with. In general. Good game and really nice game idea.
