This game is actually really interesting. I didn't expect this game to be that fun in the beginning, but it was increasingly amusing to play as the game continued. You hit the theme right on the mark, and mostly everything about this game fits together. There may or may not be a bug with cooking the beef that comes up at some point. The graphics and audio are really nice, and you really made me feel immersed in the game by rushing between the table and grill to fighting zombies.

Holy crap, this is fantastic - easily the best game of this jam I've played so far. Great concept and very well executed. The zombie-shooting gets a little repetitive, but the cooking part keeps its charm - I really enjoyed the little rhythm mini-game. I hit a bug eventually where I couldn't drop any meat on the grill, which sadly put an end to my burger career, but everything up to that point was tremendous fun.

Good use of the theme! Was having some fun with it. Sadly I broke the BBQ and it wouldn't allow me to cook any more burgers. Not sure what I did.

I really love your concept ! I had a hard time understanding the mechanics at first but I got the hang of it after some time. Well done !

Whoa cool concept. Wicked hard to click the burger ingredients on time, but I like the balance of the mechanics here. The burger building feels like a rhythm game!

Love the concept! Serving up burgers with the rhythm-lite mechanic was satisfying and a ton of fun. Having to manage serving customers as well as cooking burgers on the grill was a fun challenge. The zombies definitely started feeling a little repetitive, but otherwise, I very much enjoyed this game!

I really like the look of this, but am on Linux (also have a mac lying around too) - it's a Game Maker game right? Would it be possible to do a build for mac/linux?

@mrspeaker Absolutely, I can't do a build for the original version but I can make a build of the bug fixed version. Give me a moment
EDIT: @mrspeaker unfortunately looks like I would need a linux/mac system to port it. Sorry!

Perhaps you could put up a video play-through? The comments here piqued my interest ;)

@mrspeaker There is a video on the Itch.io page, it's poorly cropped but it sure is there!

Good fun, a good mix of mechanics and features. Could have benefited from some more resource collection but the shop covered for this. Very enjoyable nice work!
If you get the chance give our jam Mechasnek a go! :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/mechasnek

So much elements involved!
I mean that in a positive way. You really managed to take multitasking to the next level!
At first I thought that the player was a Frying pan.
Good work combining more than 2 genres in a logical way... I'd say that there's 4 genres involved: Zombie survival, cooking, rythm and trading. Outstanding!

I really enjoyed it, but I could see a little improvement. The cooking is pretty satisfying to do, but in comparison, the combat may need some work, the sound effect on the gun did not feel powerful enough, you could try to higher the base on it. Also adding slight screen shake and bigger bullets may help too, as well as feedback for hitting zombies. Anyways, I had fun playing it, and I look forward to what you have next.

I don't know what it is about the burger cooking mini game but I really enjoyed that aspect of it. I gave most of my feedback on stream. Thanks so much for coming by and sharing it!

Nice concept, nice gameplay! It works really well.

There's a few bugs here and there, and I didn't understood everything at my first try, but I didn't seen the tutorial at first... (tired me)

I loved the burger composing/rythtm game part, it's a simple yet effective idea! And some detail like the burger grilling, really well implemented.

I didn't like the music tho. It felt too... anxiogene :|

Good entry overall, I enjoyed it (;
