Death's Favourite Marble by rhythmlynx

[raw]
made by rhythmlynx for LD 44 (COMPO)

You were unlucky enough to die right after Death dropped their favourite marble down a drain. It's hard to tell, but you think they were sulking. Now your soul is trapped in a marble and you are cursed to keep them entertained for eternity. You try not to think about what will happen if you fail. There's a few stray souls around, perhaps if you collect enough of them you can strike a deal?

  • 3D marble physics platforming!
  • Roll, Jump, Glide and Slam through a procedurally placed infinite level!
  • Use extra lives to unlock new abilities, but be careful not to run out!

Tools: - Unity 2019.1 with the ProGrids v3 and ProBuilder v4 packages - Visual Studio Code

Thank goodness the physics are more forgiving than in Marble Blast :) Good job

Nicely designed level. A bit disorienting when everything was moving but it works! Well done!

A fun game, if somewhat unforgiving at times on some of the jumping puzzles - the fixed camera angle and the slightly strong momentum made it a bit hard to judge where I was going to land sometimes, though the glide upgrade helped. Lots of potential for expansion here, nice work!

Got to love a marble game. Overall nice game. I had a lot of fun playing even though I'm not very good at it. Nice work.

The player is pretty responsive and refined, and I had to be sooo patient with myself to get anywhere. Nice job.

I'm really bad at this... haha. Good job with the game. The 'difficulty curve' is quite exaggerated and it could have some more balance. The first part with the flying platforms is easy, but then the thin line is really difficult. The graphics could be better with some textures and effects, too. The movement feels responsive.

Cool premise, but I could not get pass one of the pillars, whenever I jumped, it was too difficult to maneuver in the air and I always fell. Some music would be nice too.

A difficult but otherwise fun game. Controls feel solid and not too punishing.
