A fun little game. Would have been nice if there was a marker or something for the position the fish was heading to. Also at one point I could make my fish leave the water and fly away. Not sure if that is a bug or not?

Nice! Game-play got a little boring early in. Not much variation

Very nice!!! I do feel like it was lagging a bit on the theme. I did enjoy running away from the piranha though. Maybe if the piranha grows after it eats a fish, that would help tailor it to the theme a little more. GOOD JOB BUD!!

I like the idea of saving fish, but I think it offers few mechanics and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. It would be nice to make the game faster, maybe using arrows as a control instead of the mouse.

pretty easy game to get a hold of. Feels a little slow though and fishes are super tiny.
Overall a great idea and amazingly executed within the time frame we all had.

Round 4: get cool new red and white fish.

Name him Codsworth.

Round 7: get new red and white fish.

**"You are not Codsworth."**

Straight into the maws of death.

Love this! The fish seem to have a deathwish sometimes which keeps you on your toes. Unique idea and very enjoyable

I agree with pretty much everyone here. It is a fun game, and the fish really do have a deathwish as @harry-jacobs has said. However, I feel that it is rather slow. Also, the pirana's AI is anything but fantastic. My favorite tactic with this game is to let two of the fish get eaten, then just swim in circles around the pirana until the water runs out. Then repeat. Good concept and art, I like the skeleton of LD42!

Really cool idea with the water level descending. I wish there was more stuff to do with the fish in order to escape the pirahna.

A Starcadian Tiger has landed on a game called Save that fish! made by JUKE Games for LudumDare! This is what the Tiger says:

Yeah, I agree too! Wait? What's that? You guys don't understand? Let me translate it for you!

Really cool idea but I thought the theme was "Running out of space" not "Running out of Fish"! Haha, I'm joking the water loss was a great idea!

@juke-games P.S. If you take this game any further, it may be a good idea to add food in the lake that the fish can eat for bonus points.

Pretty neat concept. would be good for a mobile game. Only issue is I couldn't figure out the distance the fish were meant to go.

Quite unique idea. There are not many simulator games where you are inside aquatic ecosystem. Fits the theme nicely as the water keeps vaporizing, making the play area smaller. There is the big fish, on top of the food chain and needs to be avoided. I hauled all the fish as a cluster for maximal survival, but things can get difficult with more and more fishes.

There is a problem, if you force the fish above surface, they go off flying. Abusing this bug lets the player use the whole starting space whole game.

Graphics are functional, everything is clear and distinct from each other. The dino skeleton reminds me of some childhood comics. Those old comics use to always have skeletons underground. :skull:

Game would benefit from some music.

Really liked the idea of this game, very fun to play. I think little adjustments like selection sounds when clicking on fish. Cool idea!

I enjoyed the idea a lot, it was quite fun. The hitboxes are a bit big in my opinion which makes it hard to survive when there is not much water left. Controls are a bit funky as you have to select multiple time the same fish to make it change its path. I would have liked to be able to select one fish and then move it around as much as I wanted. I liked the fact that each time you launch a game, you have different fishes, it's a nice touch. Solid entry overall, well done!

Nice take on the theme! I wasn't sure what it had to do with the theme then realized half the water had drained. It was fun for a few levels but the clicking got a bit too much in the end. I think it would be a lot more playable on a touchscreen though. Nice idea and good effort! :)

Wow, I loved the idea, quite unique, nice arts, and awesome theme's interpretation.

As improvement just offering the possibility to control the same fish more than just one click would be very cool (have to click the fish/click the position every time is painful) with a little glow or something to remember which one is active.
