A new day begins. Your phone's charged up and you're ready to face a busy morning. Except... apps.

  • They won't stop installing: swipe to throw them away and save battery life.
  • People keep texting you: tap the icons to remove notifications

The game plays best on a touch screen or with a stylus: it's a lot harder with the mouse

The project is based on the Godot engine (version 3 beta). The goal was to produce a minimum viable product from scratch, in solo, in a reasonable amount of time. That was a good opportunity to work with Godot's powerful UI system some more and prepare future game creation tutorials. It was all done live on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eeSYoR6-JQ

Please excuse the background music! I really wanted to get the game over with quickly

Really nice looking game, particularly that drag bounceback. I really like the concept too of having to get rid of stuff while life admin's on your tail. I couldn't quite figure out how to throw the apps away after they'd installed.

Hey man, thanks for your tutorials on Youtube and especially thanks to you to let people know that this event was going to start soon! Without your Youtube video notification regarding your livestream I would've not heard of this and not participated :)

Enjoyed your game btw, you are a very skilled artist!

As you say playing with a touch screen is better. But I really liked the concept, it got me anxious in a good way. And nice lifestream btw ;)

Gratz for your nice game and thank you for streaming all the process, I was mostly listening while working and it was really cool :)

Really cool visual design.
Took me a while to figure out how to throw away apps using the mouse, but I guess that will work much smoother with touch.
Overall well done.

Hey Nathan, as always nice art! Very crisp and interested in Affinitity Designer now. Shame the gameplay is a little bare but still a very respectable entry.

This is one of the reasons I hate smartphones made into a game :D
Nice use of the theme!
But it really is hard to play with a mouse.

overall its a great game, i guess if there was waves or round with linearly increasing difficulty it could be more fun! the art style and music track are nice. missing SFX take a little bit of the overall experience, but considering that this an compo entry great job ^_^ all the best !
