Dainty Deprivation by NickMarcha
Our first Ludum Dare, and it was both fantastic and horrific! We decided to make a cross between Motorsport and Fantasy RPG.
The game: Drive around and make friends with the locals, collect their magical dust to level up and upgrade your car and use your new tools to collect more dust.
Good Luck and have some fun!!
- Level 25 is max-level, where stuff stops happening.
- Playing with a controller is recommended.
- Beware, no in-game volume sliders.

My biggest concern is that there is no real challenge in the game, as it's more just a grind to get to level 25 (which kind of emphasizes the RPG element I guess ;) )
With some challenge in here this could've been even better! Good job overall (:
The graphics of the game is great, it looks pleasing nad very smooth. Music idea of changing the track depending on the situation is good.
The game would not refuse getting a little challenge for the player (eg, you have to collect N units within a given time to level up, ewoks attack you car, you name it).
Also I think allowing to change the car color is interesting, but the color pallet it too big. It would have been better to let players choose from a set number of options, since too many possibilities is a liability.
Thank you for the game!
Regardless, it's fun and the whole thing is really well polished; nice work!
Nice work, great artstyle, cute little fellas!
Visual and audio design are great! And Color customisation is a nice touch :)
Cool game, have a fish <3 🐟
It's a good way to channel the anger :P
are you thinking about continuing with the project, it is very promising!
