You are really onto something here! It is so cool using the gravity of the planets to curve my bullets around and hit the enemies out of their line of sight. I don't know if you added audio or not but I wasn't hearing anything. Even just some jet propulsion noises would have been enough for another layer of immersion. But the gameplay mechanic itself, spot on

There are no sounds, but there is music playing in the background. Thank you for your feedback! :)

Really nice job. Gravity based arcade games are always really fun. I also am not hearing any sound though, I was using the webGL build so maybe it's related to that. The physics is balanced very well and can be really fun to play around and create slingshots with. I think that the enemies' or the projectiles' hitboxes are waaay too small. With such small hitboxes it starts to feel more like luck than anything else which seems to contradict the fun physics based combat.

For some reason there is no music in web build. Thanks for letting me know! You might be right about hitboxes, but I didn't notice it when playing fullscreen.

Good but enemies to powerfull so hard avoid his shoots. Maybe speedup ship movement?

The gravity mechanic is really great but I found the controls to be hard to deal with. Overall decent game though.

The execution wasn't great, but I really like the idea. Given more time I think this could be made into something really cool. The gravity was really clunky to deal with

A very simple game, but nice and easy to play. I like the gravity, since this make it hard to play.

Gravity and inertia was cool, but overall playability could use some work.

The gravity was a cool addition to the game. Some audio would have added a lot to this. Also I wish there was some sort of visual to let me know I hit the aliens. Overall, nice work!

Really nice "feel" with the gravity based physics! The controls seemed a tad odd for this type of game, mouse controls would complement the mechanics better. Sometimes it was hard to tell the direction the ship was facing and the enemy AI was dumb as a rock, but overall solid entry!

P.S Thanks for playing my game! Sorry to waste an hour of your life. If you like my game you will probably like another game called "Devil Daggers", you should check it out!

Innovative game play. I couldn't hear any sound or music though. :( I know you wrote that there is music but it didn't play for me.

I love the idea of having the shots be significantly affected by gravity. The game itself is very difficult because the space pirates just fall straight into the earth and shoot it point-blank. It might be more interesting if they flew around more.

Interesting idea, but the execution falls a bit flat. The Space Pirates' AI isn't great, and when they're all just hugging the planet, it's...rather boring. The ship controls are a bit too slidey, and it's too easy to fall into a gravity well never to escape. I'm also afraid to report there's no music, at least in the web version.

With some tweaks and polish, it could work.

@CliffracerX Thanks for the feedback! It might seem that sometimes you can't escape the gravity, but actually you can. First you have to go into orbit to be able to do that.

The ship is a little bit hard to control, but ok.

I've liked the main idea of the game.

Great job! :D

A lot inspired by Asteroids. I liked the gravity attraction of the bullets.

The ship was pretty hard to control. The enemies had an extremely small hitbox which made it even harder. I liked the idea. It could have been better if the enemies didn't just fall onto the planet. The game was pretty ugly. The planet didn't look that bad but the ships were kind of ugly and the gui had some issues with the death screen not showing completely on screen. the idea was good though.

We streamed your game with Danae plays on Twitch. :) Here's a link:

I don't know how much of it was intended, but the gravity effects were pretty hilarious. Watching the enemy ships come out of nowhere and slap themselves against the Earth did not get old :) The gravity-affected shots were also interesting, maybe a bit too difficult. I feel like I got lucky when I actually managed to win the game.

Good job, it was fun to play this!
