About

This is the second game from TeamHumanSimulator and our first 3D game with physics. Unfortunately, we only had 48 hours to work on it, so it's missing some polish. All assets, audio, controls, etc. in the game are original (including the incredibly accurate duck sounds). We welcome any feedback you may have!

The current high score from our playthroughs was 5 ducklings saved.

Daaaaaamn what did you use to produce that music? All I have to say in that regard is that it's CLEAN. About the game, I liked the concept and I appreciate the 3D graphics. Yes, it could have been more polished, but this is exceptional for 48 hours. I could see this game be at the top if it incorporated more of the theme, but you guys wanted to make something original, I get that. Great job.

I don't know if you know this, but make sure you play/rate other games so that people can see yours! I want them to see this!

@comenoha Thanks so much for the feedback! We had a music wizard who made all the music using his magic Maschine. I didn't get a chance this past week to check out any games, but I'm planning on going through a number before the end of the voting period

Nice! It's a funny game. I managed to get 3 saved during my attempts. I like the graphics too! It's an overall good game. Too bad there weren't more maps. The LD 41's theme didn't get across for me but the game is nice anyway. A system of progress organized by maps and scored with stars might be ideal for this type of game.

I love puns and ducks, so I immediately fell in love with this game by reading the title. While a bit slippery at times and with ducklings that behaved oddly every now and then, I loved the execution of this game. Just a normal stroll of a mother duck and her children, but hardcore.

Great lowpoly and music. And of course, quacking. My only real complaint about this game is that I felt that the game over screen, which I admit I watched so many times I should be ashamed of my poor gameplay skills, was a bit too long. At the very least, it should have been skippable, since I was very eager to go back into the action. Things really ramp up fast, and I love a good challenge. I'm glad that this game provided.

Excellent work! I'll let [my team](twitter.com/whalesandgames) know about this game so they can check it out too. Keep up the good work! :whale:

The 'quack' is so cute, I love the sound and the graphics. It game itself is also great.

I loved it, I love the level design since it's something that i'm most interested in. Music is not my taste for this type of game but when I saw the game over screen for the first time with that sound and duck's skull, it gave me the chills for a second :).

Great work, I would love to see more. Maybe take a look a something like Chicken Run on the PS1 for inspiration.

If you would be so kind as to take a look at my half-baked product and leave a rating I would be most grateful :)

This was very awesome, very fun to play. Excellent music, I especially loved the processed "quack" samples that were part of the music. Nice, clean graphical style to boot, and well implemented. The only small issue I encountered was that I wish I had a bit more feedback (a louder sound or something) when a duckling is lost. Right now there seems to be a small "pop" sound that can't always be heard above the music. Great job!

Love the level design in this game! The music fits very well and the menu is on point!
One problem I think you should avoid is to NOT have any level design that intentionally sets the player back. Sometimes the levels are a bit too hard to cross even if I move very carefully. With a little bit more balance this game could be a lot more fun.
Keep up the good work!
BTW, good pun ;)

I liked this one, it was fun and I admire how much you were able to do in just 48 hours. The graphics were really cute and the gameplay was action packed. Not sure whether I've just not paid enough attention, but what seemed to bothered me was that I didn't know how many times can the momma duck get hit. What I think would make this game even better is some funny looking animations of ducks being cut with the saw etc. Perhaps I'd also prefer to zoom out even more than you currently can. So you can keep an eye on those little ducks even better :D Great job though!

This is really well done. It's tough and not a little frustrating, which seems pretty right given the circumstances. A great entry and a fun little game. Got some really funky grooves, too. Well done!

cool game, sometimes annoying and too hard for me, but generally very funny, only sometimes the controls didn't work for me, I like the low poly graphics. great idea and mechanics.

Great job :)
