Enjoyed the idea of sending messages to other systems. The atmosphere, what's most important to me in a game, is well done. The gameplay on the other hand is too luck based, at times you get to 28% power without any of the stars pointing to anything. It's attractive and can easily be expanded with more communication mechanics.

This game was very pleasant. It took me a while to understand how to play the game, and I'm still a bit unsure. I think if the game explained how to play a bit better, it could make it a lot more enjoyable. However, the art and mood had a lot of charm to it! Good job!

I have won the game, but i am not absolutely sure how i did that. :)
It would be nice to have a better explanation or a tutorial of some sort.
Really like the graphics, music and mood.

Great mood as others have said! the music really fits and so does the UI (though the numbers are a bit unclear)
I'm not sure if I won or lost? or if I actually found sol? it just says "thanks or playing"
would have been nice to get a clear win/lose message.
and I agree with TeamMonumental, maybe a higher rate of the pointing lines but with less accuracy would have made it more skill-based?

this is a very interesting entry, implemented well, great job! ^^

Very interesting! I reallly love the painterly/future style, what a strange mix! If it were slightly more legible I'd love to see more stuff like that.

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure how to play the game, but I think I have a general Idea. Maybe with more time you could put more information in like different qualities of the planet and such.

Good job!

Thank you all! It was a very nice surprise to find some comments here :)

@torcado I was certainly not happy with the legibility of the text, but sadly did not have time to re-draw it!

@rokasv @teammonumental @awesomealliterationalliance @cyberstarlight The gameplay is *absolutely* the weakest part of B-M0X. It is too random, too light, and all of that. I will certainly strive to do better the next time around. Thank you for the criticism! I am grateful for the feedback.

The art is adorable! The game itself was fairly short, but enjoyable.

Super simple and short. Seemed like the best way to play was to click randomly until you find a "known" star then keep clicking randomly on the line until you found a match. Distances seemed to be pretty random and no help at all. Also the planet count can be false positive and I think I even once won with a candidate with 14 planets. Would need more depth for the triangulation system and a bit more stuff to do.

Loved the hand drawn graphics and the music fit the mood very well.

Simple but interesting game! The art style is really exceptional, unique, simple and cute! I'd love to see more games feature art like this! The music and sound effects were also very good and they fitted perfectly with the whole aesthetic. I don't know how you could expand on that, but I'm sure that you can come up with something really clever and unique! Great job! :D

I loved the graphics, audio and general ambient mood in the game. Quite a simple mechanic, if anything I would say it seemed to be quite random luck with finding the home planet, I might not have been doing it correctly, but I often found the candidate star systems would result in game over. I did manage to win once though! All in all a lovely entry, well done!

Really nice little game, I do really like the angry planet/entity in the top corner as your power goes down. I would love to see more gameplay but it was quite pleasant as it was.

I played this game on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/142659988 - time 0:38:50
