Way to crush expectations.

I really enjoyed the art and audio, but the gameplay/glitching/screenshots/photos really destroyed any fun to be had :(

I really liked the menu screen.
The bugs are gone now which makes it playable but the overall goal of the game is still a bit lost to me.

Hah, I like how the game started to make me want to get the things that were told to me to 'avoid'. I like how things changed when I got hit by stuff and eventually I learned the 'avoid' things don't kill me but make things different. Well done. Cheers!

Cool choice of aesthetics and the music sets the mood for a tranquil experience. The player avatar looks really good and the effects when you get hurt really feel like I got hurt. Keep at it and I think this game could be a fun mobile game.

Ok! It was... weird but in a positive way! :)
It was a cool experience. Love the art style and the "glitchy mode?"
Good job!

Thought it was a bit simple at first, until I noticed crazy shit started happening every time you get hit by the arrows, and it gets even more crazy the more often you do it. Really cool glitch effects, nice audio as well!

At first, I was extremely impressed with the animations and graphics, the audio was cute and built up a really nice asthetic. As the game progressed, I was a bit confused as to what exactly was going on. It wasn't until I got to the phase where coins stopped appearing that it clicked and when I came to the realization, I was enthralled. I had to find out what was next. This is a really good entry and it was a great touch to include development screenshots and pictures. Overall a solid entry

You already know how much I liked your game guys :)
Graphics are awesome, music is awesome, mood is awesome… It's awesome! :D
And I really like how weird and unexpected the game goes as you lose it progressively :) That's a very nice idea to mix such moods together!

Keep going like that!

Expérience très surprenante et intéressante !! Dommage que le score final ne soit pas indiqué en négatif mais juste "0", c'est quelque peu frustrant ^^
J'ai bien rigolé sur la musique wtf qu'il a pu y avoir ^^
Bref, super concept !! Bravo !

Loved the art style and the music. I also liked the menu effect. It can get tough at times but that's not a bad thing! Had a good time playing. Thanks!

Great work! Awesome that you hand-painted the background and I laughed a lot. Nicely done! Our game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/flying-by-yourself

More hints that the game is actually "broken" and you are not supposed to follow the rules! Nice game though! Very different from other games.

Hey chatted with you a little already, but wanted to put some more here:

Overall this was an awesome experience, definitely not your typical game. Audio and visuals were well done. Great job you guys!

I really wish I had been able to play this on stream but unfortunately ran out of time! I still showed off the gamepage on stream and we all commented about how great it was that you used traditional media for the background, I dont see that very often in LD submissions.

After watching the playthrough, I definitely wasnt expecting that ending and know I wouldve been freaking out the entire time haha. The audio is fantastic, loved the audio feedback, the screen shake, and how the tutorial was executed. I would probably have the tutorial a little smaller and lined up along the bottom of the score bar and then leave it up until the green screen and change the "Avoid >" to "Collect >" so the player knows to move towards the > instead of avoid. Once they collect it, you can take that down.

Overall its a fantastic game, definitely wasnt what I was expecting haha

Really enjoyed the art and glitch aspect of this, but I think there could have been some more clues that you are supposed to break the rules early on. Some of the later sequences where frustrating because you moved slowly or strangely and all you really needed to do was get hit to continue. Really an interesting treatment of the theme though, thanks for making this.

This was awesome sauce! It started, I thought - oh, a cute game - seems simple enough - I hope there's a bit more to it than this coin collecting.. and maybe real enemies instead of those orange arrows. But soon, those orange arrows started to mean a lot more to me. They started to be the only constant in my life. I was drawn to them, as they were drawn to me... neither of us could co-exist without the other. Until the end. And the end was full of sadness.

...until I saw that replay button :D

In seriousness - it was really top notch audio, visual effects, and mood. Could have quickly turned into a horror! Theme wasn't typically challenged - like happy cute / vs creepy glitchy won't be understood by the majority, but you've still got plenty to be pleased about!

Very interesting! The art was very cute and the music completely not creepy at all or anything. Excellent mood and adherence to the theme! Would recommend.

The music is so relaxing good job for that. The art of it is a child friendly. You really got a good job for your game!! :dog:

This is awesome! At first I thought "well this is pretty basic, not getting the theme here" and then... :) Tons of clever stuff here, I loved the arrows on the reaper timeline :P Great music and sound design too. I wish the gameplay was a little more elaborate than just collecting/avoiding stuff, but it was still a great experience. In a weird way, this is maybe the most fun game I've played this LD! Awesome work! :D
