Interesting, the level design looks challenging, I could not pass the second level :(. I probably did not understand something ? Good job anyway!

Interesting idea, pretty good given the time scale, well done!

I really liked the animation for commanding the boxes to move. The idea is interesting too. It was fun, if a bit short, but it could definitely be lengthened with just the current mechanics.

This is cute! I think you've got an interesting main mechanic, though I do wish the boxes moved a little faster as you pushed them. A few more levels to slowly bring up the difficulty and teach things to the player would be appreciated, but time crunch always takes it's toll during jams, so I do understand. Graphics and music worked well together, really great job. Thanks for building this!

Interesting mechanics! It's a little confusing, though. Just like the previous commenter, I couldn't get past the second level.

Minor nitpick: it's uncomfortable to use the WASD keys with the X key and the space bar. The arrow keys are more comfortable to use with those.

The graphics are nice and my favorite part was the music! It's very catchy and reminds me a lot of Anamanaguchi! Good job!

I packaged your game for Mac. Please re-host it and let me know so I can take it out of my Dropbox folder: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o8qjai93d9gykv1/portals_and_boxes_mac.zip?dl=0

Cute little game! I managed to win. That last level was a doozy; not much margin for error, I had to retry about 4 times. Congrats on finishing the compo, and nice music track!

Cool little game. Good job on the graphics and audio.

There were a lot of hidden rules that were kind of frustrating to figure out in the second level. The difficulty spiked from the first level to the second; a few more simpler levels before the last one would have been good. Also the portal graphics were not obvious as to which one was the in or out. Something you could do is add an arrow pointing into the portal for an input portal and an arrow pointing out for an output portal.

Good work.

Good game! Shame there wasn't more than two levels, but I really liked what was there. The music is great and at the end I'll admit to mashing on X to the beat to make the robot dance, lol.

At first I was pretty baffled by the interactions of the switches in the second level and thought it might be bugged. After some experimentation, I realized it worked consistently and was good to go. That whole level really stretched my brain a bit as I played this shortly after waking up (Still only on my second cup of tea now ).

My only real complaint would be that it is a little awkward to hold X while moving right.

Cool puzzle game! It's a shame there were no more levels with some steadier progression but that's how LD goes sometimes. I did like the second level though and it took me a while to figure it out.

I really like this entry! Not only are the visuals and sounds very well-executed, but the gameplay itself is pretty intriguing too! To echo some of the other comments, I would have to agree that the control scheme is a tad awkward, and maybe switching the movement controls to the arrow keys would make pressing x and space easier. Overall, you did a great job!

Hey, its a nice little game you've created. I did found a lot of bugs or errors, for example when you restart the level you are not transported to the start position, you remain wherever you were. Also, I couldn't pass the second level because I think something is broken with some of the portals.

The idea of the game is really interesting, it could make a really fun game if you solve some fo the problems. The art was really nice but the pixel text in the tutorial was a little difficult to read.

Overall, good job!!

I think this one is really cool. Loved the audio, the puzzle mechanics, the graphics, they are all really great. I'm not sure about the control scheme, though. Also I would have loved some extra levels. But other than that, it's very great game!

Very nicely done, though I couldn't pass second level. I like this type of game. Good music and sounds. Using 'X' key is somewhat inconvenient. Good job!

Really interesting game, fun and a good concept. It's really challenging, maybe you can expand the game later increasing the difficulty gradually, as one commenter already suggested. The art and the sound was really cool.

When restarting the level the robot was kept in the same place, not going to the beginning. Also, the X button is so near of A, D and between them and Space bar... Wasn't really easy to use.

All in all cute game, good job :)
