Overall a good game. Could use a reset button and a "you died" screen if someone wants to retry. Had some issues with zombie collision: They'd hit me then be on my other side, turn around, and hit me again. Made if hard to fend them off. Maybe slower zombies would help with the ability to kill them (behead?) with a couple shovel swings. Slower zombies means you can dig a bit while they approach then go on a rampage to clear the map a bit then go back.
Graphics are cute even though they're simple. Wouldn't take much to clean them up. Couple of zombie sounds and maybe a swinging shovel sound and you're all set! Great entry and fun to play!

@4kbshort Thank you for playing and for your quality feedback. I will consider it in my Post-Jam Version. Also I'm going to take a closer look at the bug/(unintended feature) of the Zombie behavior.

Gameplay is nothing new, killing enemies and the more ____ you pick up the more enemies. It connects to the theme in a very interesting manor, the graphical style is not my favourite. Pretty good for Compo tho.

Nice one, this is a good basic game, you can expand with more elements. Notices that some time zombie appears too near, maybe you can scroll the map a little earlier when character moves. Sometimes the attack knockback is on the opposite direction causing losing a lot of health. Well done!

It feels very easy, the zombies run much slower than you and are easily killed.

@pecolyte Thank you for your quality feedback. Finally some one sees the expandability of my Game. :D I will consider your feedback for my Post-Jam Version.

@cosarara Interesting Feedback. I usually hear the zombies would be way to fast. Thank you for playing

Nice game!

The idea was cool, but the combat was a bit weird, you could not hit a zombie without taking damage, at least i wasn't able. The game had no sounds :( What is supposed to happen when you die? for me it just froze. I downloaded the one with bug fixes. Some zombies didn't move at all. not even when you got close, only if you hit them. And maybe write the controls in the game menu because most people don't read the full post here.

@svarttand Thank you for your quality feedback. I did sadly run out of time that's why there is no sound and tutorial or Game Over screen, the game just ends. :D Did the zombies which refused to move stand next to a grave stone or in one? I made the KI stupid on Purpose, so that the Player could use the gravestones as cover, which sometimes results in zombies getting stuck. :D

This was a really cool game idea. i always love games with undead people! :P The main issue with the game was the fighting mechanic. The enemies came too fast for you to kill with clicks. If you slowed down the spawning, it would be easier at the beginning. I think it would have been better is you attacked when you first pressed the mouse, not when you released. Also, the zombies really don't go away when you damage them. It would make more sense if they just died the first time you clicked.

I've made compo games before and I know how hard it is to balance difficulty in 48 hours. Putting that part of the gameplay aside, this is a good game, and I had a lot of fun playing it! My highscore was 750 I think. Keep developing this, because you could have something really cool on your hands!

I played it again just now, and it's not that they are slow, it's that they usually don't move. It's like they are stuck between the graves. But now when I hit them they teleport to my side, hit me once, and die. It's very weird.

@cosarara The zombies kind of like to get stuck in graves. Just a stupid Bug. Also the teleportation is only in the original version, because the attack pushes them always to the right instead of the direction their coming from. Thank you for your feedback again :D

@conrad123 Thank you for your quality Feedback. I will take it in consideration for my post-Jam Version. The spawn rate is already higher than I planed and usually using left released instead of left clicked doesn't effect game play, but I didn't consider it would in case of an action game like this. I will probably have to put some more work into the battle mechanics.
Also your feedback was very encouraging :)

A pleasant atmosphere of the cemetery! Interesting idea and neat pixel art, I like it. It would be nice if the ruined tombs were different from those not yet ruined. And the inscriptions on the graves can add a fan to the gameplay. You know, like "John lies here. John loved an acute taco. Too acute taco..." Anyway, that's a nice game! Congrats!

PS. My score is 3300!

@enot487 Glad you liked it :) Inscribing Graves may be complicated, because the text would be very small probably, but I might try it out. I'm already looking for a solution for the looted graves, probably a pile of dirt next to it or slightly changed Sprite. Also thanks for playing and for your good feedback.
