In my playthrough me insulting him and me not mentioning the hair ended up being the same!

This is cool! Like an rpg fighter. I lost hard to Inferno, but I feel like he will still respect me someday... I think a bit of music would have really pushed this that much farther, but I'd imagine all that text probably took a lot of work. Nice submission!

I'm destroyed Inferno! but hair compliment makes us friends again. Awesome Compo. GG Man!

I like the graphics. I feel you could have done more; for example add more enemies, power-ups and introduce some randomness into the fighting patterns.

@resivium Yeah I really wanted to (the original concept had you fighting three opponents), but I only had so much time in the Compo! 😭 Thanks for the feedback.

It's nice to see a different take on a similar idea, good job! The sound scared the heck out of me though, I had my volume way up :D

Inferno best waifu.
On a more serious note, perfect use of the theme. I'd have loved more content, so if you manage to continue it post jam hit me up :p

Ha, I definitely feel the running out of time vibe! I like the Simon Says + Street Fighter dynamic, plus some friendship thrown in there.

Very cool merge of rock-paper-scissors, memory, and fighting games. I had fun playing your game. Great job!

Lovely concept. I really liked the art. Inferno was no match for me, but I liked his hair so we're best buds now. I figured out the fighting mechanics right away, so it wasn't much of a challenge. But I wish there was a bit more story and dialogue. I wanted to be able to taunt my opponent before/during the fight!

Haha the sound scared the heck out of me. I had my volume turned up from checking out a previous submission

What I loved
* Wonderful art style, fantastic job on that!
* Felt like a simon says & street fighter combo. Both of which I thoroughly enjoy!

My Thoughts
* Game was straight forward & I figured out the controls immediately
* Very creating
* More enemies would've been nice or other additions but It's a compo and I appreciate the work already put in it!

I'd also love for you to review my submission as well!

That was fun, thanks! It would be nice to see some variety in Inferno's patterns because you learn current patterns almost immediately, he never changes them and after a while, you start boringly count moves (block, block, throw! block, block, throw...) and it becomes less fun.

I love it!

Some more variety later on would have been nice, but I know you did not have more time than any of us, so very well done! Especially with implementing not only good gameplay but also a kind of story.

Simple game, but really nice! Left a positive impression on me after I played it :)

Well executed, if I were to add one thing it'd be some music I think, it'd really set the scene!

Good job for a combo, the essential is in your game to make it fun and that's the main goal for any game !
