Zombie Power Station by CodeChomper
The zombies became a problem about the same time the world was going through a major power shortage…. The only logical solution was to run the world on zombie guts.
You play as a city power collector. It is a highly dangerous job but at least it is lucrative. You must collect zombie guts and deposit them in ZGE collection units before the city RUNS OUT OF POWER.

Graphics are good. Audio is a bit silly... but it's funny and it fits. I really like it. :D
When I started, I thought that the city would use up the guts I placed into the bins. I was confused about why the power kept going down (the bins were full, so they had lots of zombie guts to use, right?). I did not know that I had to move into the next area once the bins were full.
The control of the main character can be a bit frustrating at times. I find the jumping to be a bit sluggish (I jump up, it takes a while for me to come back down).
If a zombie is on a ledge above me (like the steps in the second area), then I have no way to shoot it unless I get closer to the zombie and risk getting hurt. It might have been better if I could jump and shoot?
In the third area, I filled the bin on the left, then I went to the right side area and there were about four zombies on the ramp downward. I had one heart. I couldn't target them (similar to the situation above), so the only thing I could do was try to jump over them. I did not succeed... my character died.
So I think the level design and/or gameplay need a bit of work. Otherwise, it's a very creative effort, so good job! Thank you for sharing your game. :-)
Controls are WSAD and space to fire the shotgun if anyone's wondering.
Well done!
Art is grim and make good fit with the mood.
It would be nice if bullets were faster
Gameplay wise it's great, but I think it would be nice if the player had a couple of seconds of invulnerability when hit by a zombie, because sometimes it's hard to survive the fast and constant attacks of the enemy once it's close to you.
Overall a pretty good game, great job :D
Good job :)
Really liked the concept, plain and clear. Also liked the details that you added to it such as the light from the Light pole actually changing the player sprites and the shooting knock back.
The only aspects that I think that should be changed are the projectile speed and color (could be brighter and faster). But it is just an opinion regarding a small detail, awesome entry!
Also, your stream was great! Thanks a ton for playing my game a bit - it is really informative as a dev to get to see people play your game - my only experience was watching myself play, so it's useful to see where I can make improvements.
Great entry ! The idea of powering something wih zombies guts remain me perplex af but... anything will work i guess for some times xD
