Platform Assembly by Alaindelon

Welcome to Platform Assembly! An Outperformer Idle Platformer!
As you would expect, Platform Assembly mixes the Platformer and the Idle Clicker genres. Because of those pesky time zones and weekdays, all of the art and coding for the game was done in 48 hours. And we had a lot of fun in the process!
CONTROLS:
In Platform Assembly you don’t control the character, instead you’ll have to buy the actions it will perform throughout the level using the money it makes by advancing or collecting coins.
There are 4 types of actions at your disposal:
Jump: Make your character soar over obstacles and enemies.
Sprint: Give a speed boost to your character for longer jumps.
Reverse: Change your character’s direction to explore new horizons.
Wall Jump: Reverse and Jump at the same time. From a wall!
To place actions, click on them through the shop and place them on the floor and walls. To destroy a bought action on the map, press right click over it.
We’re a group of five 2nd year Videogame design students from Spain, and we joined this LDJam as our first project together in preparation for this year’s final project. We hope you like it!
We do not own the song used in the game and all sound effects are copyright free. The awesome track used is from Inspector Norse by Todd Terje.

Keep up the great work!
Bit of an oops there. Sorry!

-Sometimes all works and sometimes doesn't (especially in wall jumps)
-The order of UI layers are

I'm happy to see more students doing a LD project.
[Here my project](bit.ly/Tetriform)
- The price increase is so steep that you're basically forced to just do dry runs until you get enough money for more stuff. I don't know that that's really necessary.
- There is no way to destroy things you have already placed, which means that sometimes you might not be able to put jumps where they need to be. (Luckily, all of my jumps sort of just magically worked out).
The only other thing I'd like to mention is that for some reason, the level isn't always repeatable--my character would sometimes get killed on certain places, and sometimes not.
Overall, I really enjoyed this game. The gameplay works, even with the problems mentioned, and the graphics and music are good.
Also loved the aesthetic. Keep up the great work!
What I loved
* Combination of both the platform & click aspect worked wonders
* the aesthetic!!
What could be improved
* The price increase was a little meh since it caused me to just wait
* A way to remove already placed objects
* Couldn’t figure out how to move the camera at first.
* Become a little repetitive after a while, maybe add some more objectives to the game?
Thanks for sharing. I’d love for you to try out my game as well! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
