I love the blocky art style. The game play works and is fun. If there had been more time to make different levels/villains, this would be a legit cool little shooter that I'd pay for.

The voxel-based graphics looks very nice. Shooting enemies is nice laset-based weapons and I even managed to shoot few of them before they killed me. Game logic works nicely, but graphics part is the best part of the game.

I really liked the art style and sounds. The gameplay also feels good.

Love the graphics and gameplay. I was little unsure where I needed to go, especially after I reached the bank. I ultimately died trying to traverse behind the bank. Very cool!

Loved the artstyle, very clean overall. Gameplay was a bit repetitive and the theme didn't work itself into the game much

Dude let's make a crossover game! Haha seriously though, really impressed with your artwork. And about the theme, what can I say, great minds think alike eh? ;)

Did you use magicavoxel? Nice graphics. I can pass through some walls tho, but it had no effect on my gameplay. Nice one

Many of you left a nice feedback about the graphics, yes I use the amazing MagicaVoxel tool. Super simple to use and you can achieve really good results in no time! I encourage you all to try it out if you want to step into 3d modelling and cubic/voxel world. I promise you won't regret it!

i like the art, and think a bounty is a great use of theme. i managed to hit the bank and i don't know if it was a bug but the coin there respawned infinitely so i got to $30k before i quit ^-^

would be rad to have seen some sort of progression in difficulty, balanced by health pickups. the same enemies mixed with regenerating health made it easy to camp :)

TITLE SCREEN: love the art, and the menu detailing controls is helpful.
MUSIC: not sure it fits the environment?
SOUND EFFECTS: spot on, the right volume and timings, and not too much overload.
ART: nice character voxel art that creates the tone. environment art was nice too, not too complicated that made it distracting.
MOVEMENT: controls and movement was nice and smooth, speed felt good. It would have been nice to jump? As in jump onto some of the little mounds?
MECHANIC: general mechanic was nice, easy to grasp and fun to play. maybe a "hide" option would have been good? so maybe there are little crevices or dark areas that you can go to and hide (maybe a timer ticks down?) just to give you a breather and add an extra option for the player sometimes? this along with upgrades etc. for progression would be good but obviously would have taken more time so completely understand their absence.
HUD: nice and simple, art matched the style. would have been nice if it were larger, not by much, I just feel it would have helped keep an eye on health. also, when health is low maybe player character flash to easily let player know?

Well done, I enjoyed this game and it's impressive what you have achieved here.

I really like the graphics style, and this game has a metric ton of potential. I found it too easy to "glitch" and just start racking up bounty at the bank. And the full auto gun made me chuckle. It just made be picture the lone ranger fanning the hammer on his Colt revolver like it was a shake weight! I'd love to see this more polished and have more content added.

Very impressive for a compo game! I love the visuals, and took me a while to figure out the theme (till I died :P). Overall very fun game the only caveat I have is the music. It gets old pretty fast and gets annoying at some point wishing there was a mute button.

Very cute and beautiful voxel graphics, but I wish there was more than just shooting the enemies,

Lovely game, with a little extra development, this could be released on game webplatforms and be played a lot ! excellent entry. Just gotta work a little on the AI pathfinding

Nice graphics but it doesn't really fit the theme. I attack but don't lose health for example. And there's a coin near the bank that gives me infinite money, but I can't spend the money on anything. If you could think of a way to integrate the money with some sort of gameplay mechanic that'd be good

@adam-clayden Well the point is that there is a bounty on your head, so basically everytime you rob the Bank or kill enemies the bounty on your head increases. When you die the bounty is paid back to the bounty hunters: so your life is currency for them!. This was the whole idea to fit the theme.

I have enjoyed the game, though it gets repetitive. It would be nice to have different enemies and weapons. When you die, you realize that money you thought you collected were actually a price for your head :) Nice twist :)

The voxel graphics are so nice and love the music (just a bit short, i want more!) and I'd love to see my highscore but I know it takes time to implement that feature during the jam. Nice work!

I think this coin is bugged, it keeps giving me money. Great game otherwise !

@anstabo ah ah ah you are not the first one to notice that but actually it is a feature!!! Basically the idea was to rob the Bank asking the cashier to give you money but I didn't have time to implement all of this so you only get a little coin that represents a Bank robbery. But I get that it could be confusing! Thanks for you feedback.

Love that there are some sprites in pixelart in the scenario
sound effects are fun
it could be even funnier with a dash feature

I actually got the coin as representing a robbery and forcing you to stand still while the head hunters are coming for you. The problem with that though: It's way to easy to fight them off. I was standing there until I had >40k and then just surrendered.
The aiming was a bit off but the tracers allowed me to correct easily, so not a real problem.
The full-auto revolver was definitely overpowered and given that I could shot that fast the rest of the game felt kinda slow. Not sure what those red patches are supposed to be, but the elevation made enemies impossible to hit.

I like the voxel graphics styles and the music and sounds was quite fitting. Even though I've listed quite a few things I didn't like, I still actually had quite a bit fun playing it. Simple controls, quick to understand what to do.

Liked it overall!
