Controls:
To Protest - Mouse click on top
To Surf - Mouse click on the bottom
Instructions:
Bottom part - Here you surf on the web, collect the internet stuff to gain points.
Top part - Here you protest against internet limits and grow your GB's ball, Yellow and Red guys help on the protest, Blue guys disturb the protest.

Engine: Unity 5
Team: Solo
Nationality: Brazil

The story of this game came based on current events in Brazil, where companies want to worsen internet services.
This game was created with mobile platform in mind.
In this game you shapeshift from being a surfer and a protester, this is the way I used the theme. Being a surfer, you surf on the internet spending your limited bandwidth doing lots of things of the web and then for you don't run out of internet, you go to the streets for a manifestation and become a protester in favor of an unlimited internet.

If you can, leave a comment, it would be very nice :)

I can't really tell what the point of this game is. I just lost GB when rolling around as a circle.

Cool use of the theme. Very innovative, but not fun. I love that vector style. Please opt out of humor if there aren't any jokes in the game.

It could definitely use some instructions! I wasn't sure if I was supposed to keep pushing the ball, couldn't tell I was running out of energy, didn't know what the little "Fight" figures meant.

The vector graphics were awesome though, and the music was really well synced with it. Love the whole "internet surfer" feel!

Liked the music but I can't rate it it seems... Hard to understand what's going on without any kind of instructions on how to play.

I really liked the polish of the game and the music, although I recognized it from Youtube :)
Interesting idea for a game that might need some more mechanics to be a real hit.

I don't really understand what's going on, but I like the fact that there are two games in one. Like six flags-more games, more fun.

Neat idea, although the mechanics felt a little bit poorly explained. A clearer tutorial at the start of the game would really help a lot.

Good game. I just agree with a lack of directions about how the game mechanics work. I kept dying without knowing why.

About the context, as a fellow brazilian, I think this game should be shared everywhere to raise awareness. I suggest posting it on the "Free Internet Movement" page - but I think you already did this.

The context, for those outside Brazil, is this: the ISPs wants to put a monthly download limit on home connexion. When you reach this limit, your bandwidth will be drastically lowered or even cut off until next month. And they're willing to offer 130GB on the most abusive expensive option. All this with the approval of the regulation agencies.

This is why we're so pissed off.

I can't say it's a game, but it is a very important social app. As I understood - if I want to use internet, you have to defend you rights. I think apps like this can change something or at least make people think

Interesting concept! It took me some experimenting to understand how the game works. 1. Use up your GB without using too much 2. If you risk losing because an object is ahead that wants more GB than you have go protetst 3. When protesting spam left click, I guess don't walk to the blue guys 4. Before it gets dark/night stop protesting and start using internet again 5 rinse and repeat

Knowing how the game works it is actually quite hectic and makes fun. Without knowing exactly how to play it was just confusing.

First of, wow it has localization :D Nice!

I am not sure what the message behind this might be but I found the game pretty funny :p
It's a balancing act between protest for more internet and spending internet to gain energy for more protest? :p
Never ending loop I guess :p Can you reach infinity? Lol Deep stuff :D good job!

This was a really simple concept, and it was really well done! I think it should have been made more obvious that you had to play both sides though. Failed twice before I realized I could switch back and forth.

19. Apr 2016 · 23:51 UTC
Interesting concept. I didn't get that you were supposed to protest to gain GBs until I read the description. It's also tough to see the GB size of the circles when you're rolling so fast with so many circles attached, especially since the size of the circles doesn't really correspond to their GB size. I do like the premise though, pretty funny.

I liked the art and the craziness.
I don't think I saw an energy meter (played WebGL version) so I was protesting the hell of the government and then I died :(
Cool entry!

PS. Yeah... F*** our ISPs and ANATEL! Greetings from Brazil. :)

My only criticism is that the game's mechanics aren't presented very clearly. For example, it would probably be better to represent your energy as a number or mention that it was linked to the brightness.

Otherwise, it's a really well-made game, considering the message. The separation between the top and bottom works to convey the game's message really well!

As others have said, it's pretty hard to figure out what to do or even what's happening, who we are supposed to fight, what to do with the GBs... The art style is nice, but the gameplay definitely needs to be made clearer for the player.

Definitely one of the more memorable games. Unfortunately, the gameplay part seems a bit unbalanced. If the goal is to collect GBs, then that is easily accomplished by rolling the ball until you run out of GBs, then spamming the upper screen with mouse clicks until the ball is full. Repeat for infinite GBs.

Maybe more of a challenge would have been nice, as otherwise the game is visually very appealing and your choice of music is spot on. Very nice entry!

Pretty fun :) I didn't get it the first time I played it, but as I started with a clicking rampage I got the gameplay mechanics. Interesting use of the theme. The music was fitting. I could suggest to put in a better help to hook up the player faster and use some voices for the people to get more immersed. Good job :)
