The coding and art was done by me - dog_bone42, and the music was composed and made by TheOneMacci.

Programs: -Godot -Piskel -Pyxel Edit (Old Beta 0.2.22c) -Audacity -FamiTracker -FLStudio

All assets were made by us from scratch.

Bug fix 1: Fixed the game-breaking glitch, should be playable now.

Every time I press space, game crashes! I'll come back and rate you if you figure out what's wrong --- running Windows 1709.

Sound only comes through left headphone and it lets me start the game but then crashes when I press space to collect the box.

Congrats on your first game! This game is pretty simple and repetitive, but it's a good start for your first attempt. I will say that it was a bit disappointing that I didn't get to see any of the titular Amobo(tm). Getting to see different little figures with every opened box would have kept me interested for longer. Still, this is pretty good for your first game. Good job!

The game is unrefined, but you knew that. Honestly it is really good for a first game made in 72 hours. Look at the [stats page](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/stats) and you'll see that fewer than half of the signups actually entered a game, so that puts you in the top 50% right there. Plus, you managed to integrate sounds, music, animations, progress bars and gameplay. Good job on a first game.

Simple idea and fun to play. Maybe a walk cycle animation could have been nice but I understand if there wasn't enough time for that.

I liked the feel of the game! Pretty neat pixel art and music! :)
I feature I really missed is a high score system (I know it's unfinished). It would have keep me playing for some more rounds!

Great work for a first time anyways. ^_^

The concept for this game is cool and unique- however I feel like the execution of it was subpar. I feel like the spawn rate for the boxes was too slow and a lot of the time I was just sitting there waiting for the next box to spawn. Also, you might want to include a tally on the game over screen that shows how many boxes you placed down as a score.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, i appreciate it!

@guladam , Thanks, that means a lot. The high-score was supposed to be a feature, but unfortunately i ran out of time to add more features.

@unitedfailures Thanks for the feedback on the timer, I actually had a lot of people saying that it's too slow, but also had a bunch of people saying they found it too fast since I didn't include the target room. It requires a lot more polish and fine-tuning, and also more features. My initial plan was to add both the amount of boxes collected and time survived and maybe a few achievements regarding the two, but, again, ran out of time.

Congrats on making your first game!

It really needs a system to indicate where you're supposed to put each box, since otherwise it's sort of frustrating guesswork. I would also like to be able to see these Amobos.
