Hebe is on a mission to scour the galaxy for Scandium Ore, a vital resource for her robotic homeworld.

Loots.png

When it comes to space travel, accidents happen, and it just so happens that Hebe has crash landed into a desert world inhabited only by small primitive hoarder robots. Help Hebe rebuild her ship by collecting resources from the surrounding land, while avoiding the cheeky little robot natives. As you pick up more loot, you will find that the enemies pursue you ever more desperately and will be hot on your tail, ready to grab whatever they can.

You can also spend your resources on a handful of helpful upgrades for Hebe, allowing you to slow enemies, boost away, and scan for ore deposits.

Base Controls: - WASD to move - Space to jump - Left click on an ore to harvest it - Left click on resources to pick them up - Right click on your own resources to drop them

Unlockable Controls: - E to drop a slowing-totem for 2s - Left click to stun a single enemy for 5s - Shift to speed boost for 1s - F to find the nearest ore deposit

Wow, it's a really good entry for this game jam ! The game looks really good, ambiance is very good too.

However, it would have been way better if could simply use a keyboard key to pick nearby objects because it sometimes feels very buggy and frustrating trying to pick up a resource.

Besides that, I really enjoyed building my spaceship, congrats !

What a peaceful game ... :)
I really enjoyed my stay on this little planet, the music is really relaxing during this hard ressources looting.

Nice job !

Relaxing and enjoyable.

I like the idea of the game. The more you collect more harder it gets. It was pretty challenging at times to get the resources to the base without them getting stolen.

Nice job!

I felt like WALL-E

Nice big map.

I think sound effects to let you know you're doing the right thing or when things go wrong would be cool. But there are deadlines of course ;)

I like the smoke clouds when you jump, makes it feel better.

This was a lot of fun! I'd have loved some kind of power up to allow you to steal back your ore from the pesky little robots, but not necessary I really enjoyed this, the music was wonderful and really set the mood. Great job!

Nice game with a chill sound track. It does most definitely have some potential, with some more gameplay balancing it will be even greater! good job

Nice game! I loved the atmosphere that you made with the music and the art. At times the enemies would really swarm. I like the idea that the more resources you have the more likely you'll be targeted by enemies! Awesome job!

Good mood and gameplay, I liked how the bots were sort of trying to create their own piles of stuff :)

Perhaps some of the upgrades should have been easier to get? It took me a bit while to get the speed boost. Also perhaps there should be more resouces, I spent a long time looking for some until I realised I could just snatch them from the bots' arms.

Very nice mood with the music.

Was overall a good experience, a tiny a few drawbacks that are understandable in the context of these small jams.

-Camera angle caused issues sometimes
-as the player I never felt danger or jeopardy, since whatever I lost I could get back later, so it was just a slow slog to getting all the things (which I did)
-gameplay didn't change much, despite it being a long experience; nothing kept the player's interest
-Could have used some incidental sounds for events like taking or losing a piece

-world size felt right
-models get the job done
-music choice fits
-there is a clearly defined goal and means for getting there

Great job on the soundtrack, the visuals and the overall atmosphere! The mechanics also work great but could use some balancing. In the end I found it more efficient to go back and forth just for one resource than taking as much as possible because of how aggressive the AI gets. but it feels rewarding to steal back their stuff too. :)

Cool game! This has been said already but i'll say it anyways: the soundtrack really serve this game well for the mood! The way you used the theme works really well and I enjoyed these risk/reward decisions.

It felt long to get all those parts tho :P or maybe I've played too safe :) anyways great job!

The mood is really great in this one, reminded me of Wall-E. The music was really great as well, and the smaller robot-scorpions were cute. Cracked me up when I saw a bunch of them chasing one carrying some wood down. Actually jumped once when I was carrying 5 ingredients and one of them phased over my screen, snagging away one of my items. Really impressed with how this turned out in 72 hours! Well done :)

Implementation is good. Game is fun. Some balancing needs to be done though - enemies can easily catch you even with 2 items (not even talking about 5).

I enjoyed it a lot!

Overall really cool game probably one of the best I played in this Ludum Dare ;). The gameplay, the concept, the music, the graphics they are all great. The only thing i can point out would be to improve the game UI making it to match better the game's theme.

Pretty good execution! The mood feels good too. :) It was nice to go around, trying to get the ores you need, but at some point it got a bit frustrating when too many robots chased you, and quite fast as well to the point that when they came from the bottom part of the screen and that you go down, it doesn't give you enough time to react and they steal you almost instantly.

Great game, really dig the ambiance !
The theme is spot-on and I had a nice time, trying to get the most ore possible ;)
