Panquetzaliztli, the 15th month of the Aztec Calendar, has come. Huitzilopochtli, the god of war, the sun and human sacrifices requires his yearly tribute.

Hi folks ! Thank you for stopping by and trying Panquetzalt ! I had real fun making this game and I expect you will find it challenging enough !
It was my first Ludum Dare but be sure I will gladly come back. It was really a great thing to experience.
If you have any tips about game mechanics, arts making or anything that could be improved in Panquetzalt, feel free to leave me a comment or to ping me on twitter : @OwlyCode. I always like to learn and discuss about games.
Thank you again, good luck saving the world from an angry god !

Maybe buy more time by sacrificing randos in the crowd :p?
Nice job!
@jhell Ahah I didn't even planned to make the crowd useful but this would have been in the entry if I had had the idea, maybe a post jam update ?
I felt that every time I managed to find what I wanted to sacrifice the timer just ran out, so I would give the player more time. I find that good idea is to start easy and make it harder with time, it is hard to actually find the right amounts though.
One other point I wanted to make is that I would use different font for the texts. I loved the looks of the game, but the font actually substracted from the mood for me, it just did not fit.
Also took a bit of time to notice what I should click, I first tried to click all the little guys that fit the description and only after dying horribly 2 times I actually found out what to do, I would include this little info in the tutorial.
Overall, really cool game! Congratulations for making it to the finish line!
That said, I love the art style! And the concept is really good, too! This is an excellent compo entry!
