This is a Decision simulator, where you are playing as a space floating panda and trying to get your shit together with a race of small Snails colonizing you. You are free to make any decision, but remember that it will cause a consequence to happen. Choose wisely!

Guys, please read this:

  1. We know about the typos, and there is a reason for this. We are non-native English speaking developers and we translated our story to English in 4 A.M. at the last hour.
  2. Events are happening when one of the fractions population reaches some amount of snails in it. Yes, it can take a while to enter the event, but it guarantees non-linear gameplay and storyline.
  3. And finally thank you guys for all the feedback. It's a first time for us in Ludum dare and we hoping you are having a great time here. Cheers!

Love the idea of this game. The narrative is clever and the music is perfect for this game i really enjoyed playing. :)

Strange game, would have liked a bit more visual feedback about the current state of the civilization to help feel more emotional connection to what was happening and the consequences of the actions apart from just changing stats. Having to wait for a little while in between decisions with not much to do apart from rotate my panda was also a bit annoying. I liked the concept of a Space snails colony on an astronaut panda and overall it all looked good I just wanted more involvement.

Love the idea (made a similar game BTW), but yeah, the waiting and the subtleness of the consequences did not let me reach the end. The clearer short-term goals and the overall goal of the game together with the understandable progress indicator would let this blossom!

Great storytelling! The idea is perfect for the theme, and there's a nice melancholy feeling (especially helped by the music) to being a lonely panda slowly dying in space.

In a way it's logical that there's some waiting between events, when all you can do is spin around. But it got a bit frustrating, even more on the second round. So perhaps there could be a way to skip ahead, or to camouflage the waiting with something happening on screen? And maybe there could labels on the different meters, I kept forgetting which was what.

All in all a very nice game, I might come back to try and get those four endings I haven't seen yet!

I get a definite Futurama vibe going on here. Decision simulation is a rather apt name, although interactive fiction is what I would go for as practically it is a non-linear story structure where the simulation simply triggers events based on faction headcount. *Labels*, who doesn't like them... Moving on.

The typos are slightly distracting. There's also a faint, buggy looking, shimmer effect around the panda (in WebGL at least), which I don't think adds anything, but it kept annoying me once I noticed it. Some snail activity on the panda between the events would totally make the downtime less boring, but would not solve the issue of waiting. I would outright have a fast forward button, quite frankly.

The ending doesn't end anything either, which is a bit weird. I was first made a constellation by the aliens (or something like that) and then after the end panel closed the panda ran out of oxygen anyways? The next playthough resulted in a military coup. Lovely!

I enjoyed it, of course there could have been more visualization of whats going on, or you could have shortened the waiting time between events.
But nonetheless the game was fun, great soundtrack, nice panda model, cute snail images and a nice story.

Such a relaxing and beautiful game. The graphics were beautiful, and the music soothing and added to the desolate feel the game portrays. I truly enjoyed the experience.

The only thing that I would suggest improving is that sometimes it took a bit long for new events to pop up, and as much as I enjoyed sitting back, relaxing and watching the panda float in space, a slightly higher pace between events would be nice.

The music... again - Top Notch!

I'm honestly not sure what to say about this game. Conceptually it is a good idea but it was just way to slow for my liking. Based on what I was seeing spinning my Panda around didn't seem to do anything to effect the game, assuming that is the case that's a missed opportunity with the satellites flying around, you can have collided with them and maybe made the game a bit more fast paced. Graphically I love the game :)

I agree with a lot of the points made. The typos would make some descriptions and decisions a little confusing, and the waiting time was usually fine, but maybe two or three times it got a little long for seemingly no reason. Also, it sometimes seemed a little unclear as to why a certain outcome would take place, or how to prevent an outcome from happening. Everything I did just seemed to give me more of those damned rebels! That could have just been me though and how I played it, so other people could have been fine with that. The music was a very nice fit for the mood of a panda floating in space (even if the ambient city noises in the background of the track made me think something was going on outside!), and the art looked good!

One of the best I have played in terms of ambiance. The graphics and UI were well done and I'm not taking any points off for typos because I'm impressed you got so much story typed in as it is. Only wish there was more to do than just the decisions.

That was great ! We love the idea, we loved turning around the character (which is awesome). It may have some possible improvements on the gameplay, some polishing, but it's already gorgeous.

We would have loved to have this idea, there is so much visual possibilities. Congratulations !

That makes me laugh a long time.

Then I felt loneliness. reminds me of a sci-fi in which the last human decided to use his body to feed the bacteria on the destroyed Earth, waiting for another billion year of life evolution

I became a deity!! I'm basically a god! I'm awesome!

Firstly, the music is indeed superb - perfectly fits the mood of the game. However, what's with the traffic sound effects?!? Not sure that fits the mood quite so well!

As others have already mentioned - it's a shame I had to wait so long between events. If there was more to see on the Panda then it might not be so bad. Overall this is very different from anything else I have played so far - well done for that!

Interesting game, but isn't it supposed to be a Jam entry ? According to the [rules](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules) compo games need to be created by one person.

Very unique and very interesting. I didn't see the correlation between some of may actions and their consequences (mostly involving the many insurgents) and has been said many times, a bit more changing on the panda would be interesting, but it was enjoyable and relaxing overall.

Really interesting/crazy take on the jam. I agree with the other commenters that the waiting time between answers was a bit too long. On the one hand it supported the mood, on the other it was really annoying once you wanted to replay it.
Graphics-wise this is a really sweet entry, I really like the panda model. Maybe you could have moved the stats more to the middle, they are a bit out of sight on the right. Or maybe also visualize the actions with the snails on the body.
So all in all, a great, really interesting entry!

This is quite an interesting game. I actually went through to see all of the different endings, funnily enough the rebels was the hardest one to get.
It'd be nice to see the snail colonies growing on the panda, but I'm sure that was a limitation of time. It looks well polished nonetheless.
