It seems the game is not downloadable, the page does not load. Maybe you can check this out ? I tried in Chrome and Firefox on multiple computers.

By chance I was going to say "It is hard to play in the browser" but you updated the itch.io page so I will be able to rate it correctly :)

Good work by the way ! I like the graphics. The sound is very cool, maybe it lacks some feedback, for example you do not really know when you get hit and it makes it a little hard to understand when you are in danger.

OK so I played the game.
And oh my word.
This is a really really really good game!
I was on there for like 10 minutes solid!
This is maybe the 6th that I tested so far but it is actually the best game I played so far!

It is incredibly good and satisfying!
The one problam is lag ^^#

Maybe this is not a very good pic but when youve increased your base sped and damage per hit you can just go through the "cloud" of mushrooms that are following you, hit them, move around so you're too fast to hit, and kill like 10~20 of them in a row.
It's really satisfying!
BUT then they respawn and recombine and eveything - and that makes my pc lad like 1 frame/second for 10~20 seconds, maybe 30.

But it doesn't make my PC crash and it doesn't make me lose the game so it's not so bad.
I give you guys like 5 stars everywhere - post the game around, get people to play it, it is really awesome respect you guys this is fuckin good :D

Are you going to keep working on it?

I am a producer in video games - I'd like to talk about that if you're interested.
Like make an indie game out of it.
It has a lot of potential <3

Except for the low framerate and sometimes unresponsive controls, this game is amazing!

Had fun slashing those shrooms for coins and getting them upgrades!

Great job!

@strangeryann thank you for your message! The problem with itch.io is resolved now.
We will do our best to clean some of the problems you encountered while playing!

Not sure of what we are going to do with that. For now we just sleep to recover from the rush hahaha

@ponker we will try to fix that!

You mixed up the web version and downloadable version. Just so you know. Anyway, quite a good idea, although it is SUPER hard. The graphics are nice, although the infinite abyss isn't great. Good job!

great concept but I never reach the shop too many fungus and control a little crashed. But is a weekend jump. Good work!

I like the idea. I felt the weapon's hitbox was actually a tad small. I saw the attack animation go through the shrooms (quite often) and they weren't hit.

Shame about the controls (be sure to give whomever was responsible for them a hard time :smiling_imp: ), I do however love the mechanics of combining mushrooms and splitting mushrooms.

Your game's concept is great, bashing more and more enemies in an area is classic but always super good. It is sad that some technicalities lower the experience, especially the character's momentum that sometimes goes haywire and the low framerate... But heck! Technicalities can be fixed, a good concept is priceless!

I am impressed with the work done in such a short time :O The fusion of mushrooms is an excellent idea. A few collision problems and sometimes problems with the controls to report.

@aviland @tinis-games sadly we only had these bugs on the exported build of the game, but we're going to publish a debugged version soon!
@sgadrat yeah I figured out a solution to reduce that framerate :)

Spend some time with this entry. Nice graphics and good idea for a concept but it gets bit repetitive after a while. Furthermore, the controls did not feel that reactive and therefore clumsy. Overall nice entry

I played the debugged version and it ran very smoothly in my Firefox. It took me a while to get used to that particular combination of mouse and keyboard control. Nicely done!

Okay that was fun. I really like that they multiply when you kill them. I wish it got harder as you went on rather than easier. At first I died a few times near the beginning, but once I started upgrading, especially the attack scale, it became much easier to get more powerful. Soon I just became death incarnate. I had to actively try to get killed. I wish the different types of mushrooms had some variation in their attacks. The same strategy kills all of them, which got a bit repetitive.

I also wish there was some sort of end goal. I sort of got all the way big and then just kept killing things for a bit before letting myself die. I understand that it's already a pretty polished game that you made in a really short period of time, so that is a fairly minor critique.

Overall, really good.

gameplay gets stale after a bit. maybe if you added levels instead of just an arena it would be better but i doubt you had time for that. i like the mushrooms theyre kinda cute

Graphics are nice and cute, I like the mushroom headbutt! Audio is the standout here, the music fits extremely well. Gameplay loses much of the decision-making when all you're doing is kiting the mushrooms.

I really like the idea it is really fun. It is interesting that the enemies multiply when they die. The art is nice. I find the game a little too easy because you can just keep moving in circles and the enemies will never touch or surround you. I think it can be solved by changing the level design so it is harder to move in circles, or adding some variation to the enemies’ movement in a way that they will spread in the level so moving in circles will get you surrounded eventually.
