Intresting concepts. the UI could have some more work, no problem with the text interface, its just confusing.

@samueldeboni Yeah, that was probably the part we got the most complaints about during our play testing. We spent 90% of our time working on the technical part, which is probably what dragged down the rest. Thanks for the feedback!

I liked the idea. It was a little tricky to figure out what was going on and the first time I immediately died because I didn't have any food. Then I realized what that special note you had was for!

A couple bugs:
At one point my percentage owned was 60.0000000000001%. Looks like a floating point error
Also, I would spend all my actions to attack the monsters and it said that I reclaimed some of man's area, but my percentage never went up. Was it supposed to?

Music was a little weak, but it was an awesome attempt! Keep at it! Maybe adding a simple beat would help take it to the next level!

I am old enough to have played some of the great games of this genre back when they were hot and new. Yeah text based situation games! However, I don't recall ever starving to death on my first turn before. 8^)

There is nothing wrong with old school if it is done right and you have a great start here. Lots of room for improvements, but way to go!

This was a good concept, though I wish there were a few more things implemented - it was a little frustrating that it was possible to run out of employable population. It meant that once I ran out, it was just waiting for the end game for the monsters to be strong enough to reclaim all the land, and since they were only taking it 10% at a time... I just stopped before they'd get there. I would like a victory ending as well - I had over 500% land at some point, which felt enough like a win to me. Additionally, I think there was a glitch I experienced where I was upping the rations but it was only increasing the happiness. Certainly a glitch in my favor! I wasn't sure if there was any impact in the happiness meter either, other than just a loss if it got to 0?
