I really really liked the aesthetics and game feel, how connecting people creates children and all that stuff. But i guess i couldn't really understand whats going on and what consequences do my actions have.

@raphael-maia I was kinda going with the "figuring out the rules is sorta part of the game" thing, but if you feel like an explanation would make you enjoy the game more, I can give it :) Thanks for playing!

Took a few plays to get the idea, but once you get it down it works really well.
Really like the look/feel and music.

@raphael-maia oh thanks! I added some slight instructions to the itch page. If I wanna go mobile I have to rewrite cause I dont have android export for GMS2, but I might. There are so many mechanics I didnt manage to get in.

I feel like @raindrinker, love the game feel and the aesthetics but I don't get it at all.

Underrated game. Good graphics, nice music. By far, one of the most innovative I've seen by far.

This is excellent! I figured out the mechanics after the first couple runs and after that point it was a very nice puzzle. The audio and pixel art are spot on and the interactions felt great. High scores in all categories.

Once I figured out what I was doing it was quite enjoyable. I found the portrait mode layout to be a little worrying as I have an odd resolution on my monitor but it didn't end up causing me any trouble other than losing the bottom third of the reset button.

I realy like the art design and the feeling when you do the actions (drag and drop + sound + graphisms) works pretty well.
The game design looks enough balanced when you go deeper inside mechanics.

Nice job!

Interesting mechanic, even if the morality is a little strange.

It would take more combinations.

And great graphics!

Wow! Great idea with strong moral choices, and the mechanic itself could be really deep with more options to choose from! I survived 30 years. The art is top notch as usual. Hats down man

Very original little game! I did manage to figure most of the rules after a few playthroughs. It takes some trial and error to really understand them, but I think if you're in the right mindset it does achieve what you intended in terms of "play it to learn it".

I love how the theme, presentation and controls all work together to tell slightly unsettling things. My only issue was that character icons could use more differentiation.

My best score was 39 days but I'm sure I can do better!

The visuals and music are great, though the cahracters could have a bit more details. (The little girl portrait looks a bit too much like Darth Vader . The mechanics are simple, yet suprisingly deep, at least for a couple minutes (well, at least 20 in my case). At first I had no idea what I was doing, but after reading the deccription on Itch it went down a lot easier. That description should be in the game as far as I'm concerned, but maybe a bit more cryptic. The whole thing feels very sinister and I felt really badding planning all the cheating, so good on you.

If I had to nitpick I would mention, that the slashing/sacrifising feels slightly wonky with a mouse (but would definitely feel great/abominable on a touchscreen). Also, clicking restart usually directly sacrifises one of the characters.

It's just the complete package. I'll now have to live with this final score...

@secretpocketcat thats a record as far as I know! Thanks a lot for the great feedback. Yeah, the mechanics changed so much along the jam that ended up being a bit too obscure without me noticing. Also the whole friendship and hapinness system I wanted to make and couldnt fit at all, so friendships do nothing.

The mouse thing is a bit odd but once you know how to do it is pretty reliable, I really wanted to have that "killing them yourself" feel even if its a bit weird of an input system. Definitely would work better on touchscreen.

Glad you liked it! :D

I was going through my favourite entries and I noticed I actually forgot to rate yours, so I quickly remedied that blunder. Sorry about that.

Great game! The aesthetics of the game are really great, and the concept behind it was even better. The idea is great, and fit the theme very wel!
