Welcome to BatBall!

Created for the game jam Ludum Dare 41 in under 72 hours. The theme was "Combine 2 Incompatible Genres", so I decided to cross FPS, Sports and Walking Sim's into one neat, small and strange package.

Little Jimmy Ball might be getting his very first shot at the big leagues, but will it go as well as he has always dreamed?

Really, really fun game. The humour got me there, especially when you try to fall from the world. And the fact that it's one dude making all the voices is crazy fun to me. A really great game in my opinion !

hahahaha. What an amazing voice over. I got hit in the balls man. Oh I mean the ball hit me and I died. Hehehe. Loved the narration. Try mine as well

Great sound. I would have loved to see some more polish to the game like player feedback when swinging the bat etc.

Love this narrative! Also love the visual style and the accents! It also really great how there run multiple storylines through this short game, very good :) Also did you get the idea from tommyball? Even your voice is similar to the voices of those guys from the unmade podcast!

Literally the only tip I have: voice skipping would've been nice. For the rest, this game is just perfect. A+!

The voice acting is very nice. The bat-mechanics could be faster to respond though.

I really stuggled with the bat mechanics but different the story lines were really good, especialy for a LD GAME. My favorite moment was when I jumped off the world to see what happened and you boxed me in on my next attempt. I really didn't expect that!

Couldn't hit the ball at all, which was fine since I enjoyed finding all the other possible endings. Reminded me a lot of the stanley parable. Good job you all.
