Blok'd by NovaBSL

One unfateful night, Sammy was playing his favorite handheld console, "Blok Game", when was suddenly sucked into it by a bughole (they're much like wormholes but made of glitches instead. And totally a real thing unlike it's sci-fiesque counterpart. Nothing to worry about for nowadays' hardware are all propperlly equiped to prevent bugholes from happening).

Sammy's Blok Game skills (and yours as well) will be put to test when the blocks one would gladly destroy are now his only way out of this glitchy mess.

Use the falling blocks to build your platforms and reach the bughole. Or just ignore the game goal and play a Tetris match with the added challenge of dodging everything with Sammy. He has nothing better to do anyway. And don't you worry, Blok Game is a casual game and dying on it will just make you restart the level. Sammy is safe. Trapped but safe.

Controls:

  • Use the WASD keys to move blocks. W will rotate them and S will speed the fall.
  • The Arrow keys control Sammy. Down Arrow does nothing because they didn't know how to crouch back in the 80's. - R key resets the level you are in. The one and only actually.

This is just a prototype of the real game and has really only one stage because bugs. They almost brought me to the ground this weekend, mostly because of my noob bug hunting skills. And it turns out that making a Tetris clone on Unity3D is very much hard. Hunting bugs with a rocket launcher.

PS.: Blok'd is only my first game so please be gentle tehe 😊 Bugs will be there but they're all intentional so you can have a real bughole experience.

PS.2: Bugholes are not to be mistaken by that other b-hole word. We're all grown ups here

Aaaannd please rate and comment! Any feedback is really appreciated, I'm looking forward to making Blok'd into a real game in the near future :)

Fun game with an enjoyable art style! I liked how when the game ended, my character remained trapped, haha.
