Shooting feels so good in this! In a 6 hour jam this is awesome feedback, both visual and gameplay wise.

Maybe the main mechanic could be other. At first I thought that this was a platformer! 'Cause the constant jumps and the return of the gun.

As always, great entry and you're fucking crazy. 6 HOURS.

So much to keep track of. Fun to play but think that the blocks should not change state, keep them always destructible and one hit would be enough maybe.

it took me a minute to realize that I could move the platform, maybe you could mention how to move it in the "how to play" section ( Edit: Actually I realized that I'm blind and it's in the description here ^.^ maybe have it in the game too though ;) ) Other than that I really like the combination of genres you got here :)

Considering its 6 hours, awesome effort and fun little game. I spent a lot of time trying to get past the first level. Just wondering, are there more levels?

Very good! Great aesthetic and feel despite the minimalism and lack of audio. A clever concept, confusing at first but easy to catch on. Really hard to keep juggling!

@erikkire I've always had problems with the difficulty of my games, and I think that is one of this entry problem. Thank you for the feedback!

@Likirus I realised like, 2 days after uploading it, that the how to section doesn't say a thing about how to play xD I was too tired sorry. Thank you :DD

@MZA Yes, there are 5 levels in total. They were easy to build so I made several

I loved the game, the idea is very good !! Sometimes the game is very difficult to control, but this must be due to my lack of ability! : D

Congratulations on the idea!

Very cool game. It's easy to understand but not easy to play :D (Sometimes the bouncing of the player from the plattform is a little bit strange). Nice idea

This is such a unique idea, I've played ~150 games from this jam so far but have not come across a platform breakout game, and its surprisingly easy to control. I would like to see this idea fleshed out more. It was a lot of fun, thank you for making it.

There are many 48-hour games that do less and less competently than this does in 6 hours. This is really a great entry. Difficult, yes, but not unfairly so. I might come back and try to get through the last 3 levels later. It did take me a few minutes to learn the controls and mechanics, but the game's simple enough that I don't think it needs a tutorial. Great work, really.

Fun game that combined two genres nicely. Sometimes the hit boxes are a little weird (bouncing off white walls without making contact). If audio was added, it would just be that much better.

Fantastic game! This combo of genres is such a great idea I'm surprised that this is the first time I'm seeing something like it. I love the screenshake and the VFX when you shoot and hit the loot boxes. The art style is also so well done. It's simple, but everything meshes well together, and achieves a level of polish I didn't expect from a Ludum Dare game. If it had sound effects and music I think this would be such a well rounded game.

Great work!

`You won!!`

Great job! Unfortunately it's too hard, you'll likely find yourself exploiting corners to spam bullets which I found most efficient, rather than utilizing multitasking abilities - and I'm a big fan of multitasking games like these.

Great job with the gameplay though, it runs smooth and the idea is solid!

Please do check out my compo entry at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/story-collabs!

Nice idea! 2d shooter + block breaker are definitely incompatible genres. I was impressed by the UI and the bullet trails.

The bouncing mechanics were just a bit too weird to become comfortable with. I was frustrated with how the player controlled. I couldn't get past the 2nd level, the strange bouncing combined with the recoil made it too difficult to grasp.

Nice work :)

Great feel of the motion! =) The jump paddle feels a bit random and needed my focus to respond well enough to. This might be intentional. Aiming became guesswork. :p This game felt very challenging, but fair. I wanted to 'git gud' at it. ^^ I tried 'jetpacking' which was different, but not less challenging. Very interesting genre combination!

Hey there. :) Though minimalistic in style and execution, I think the game plays very well! The gameplay is a nice mix of two genres, and is very easy to pick up, but hard to master! The little subtleties like using the recoil of the gunshot to save the character really make it fun to try and get better at it. :D I enjoyed playing it a lot, especially after I figured out what the different colors on the boxes mean and how the character responds to the gun and the paddle.
A small thing that bothered me was the hitbox of the character. Had it been more accurate, it would have been easier to predict the movement. The character very often hit one of those moving obstacles when I wasn't expecting it.

I liked playing it though, I think a polished version could be **insanely** fun.

@Apace Hi there! Thank you very much for the feedback! The hitbox I used was made as wide as to cover the shotgun whatever side you aim at, because I didnt want to worry about bullets spawning inside the walls, but I should've change it.

I'm glad you liked it! :DDDDDD

The collision box already felt a lot better, the character colliding with the obstacles wasn't as unpredictable anymore. :D Still had some glitching though when the character "should" miss the paddle, but somehow moving into it made the character glitch onto the paddle again.

I enjoyed this a lot! The concept is simple and easy to understand, yet it's really challenging – trying to manoeuvre the paddle while simultaneously aiming twisted my brain into all kinds of knots :D Especially considering that you somehow managed to make this in 6 hours, I think that this is an absolutely outstanding entry – I gave it 5/5 overall :) To nitpick, though, I felt while playing that the character should have a little more vertical velocity when bouncing, since this would give the player a little more time to react.

It was cool! I may have a lot of problems trying to get used to moving the platform at the same time as using the gun without falling. Al least I beated the first level, so there's that!
