Morphlings by TomaszHajas

[raw]
made by TomaszHajas for LD35 (JAM)
Minimalistic RTS game - you control Morphlings - blue balls that can multiplicate, just like living organism cells! You can breed them by LMB + swiping up and morph units into barriers by LMB + swiping down.

The objective is to defeat the AI by annihilating every red ball on the map.

Good luck!

It seems there's only one map of three available? I enjoyed it a lot though, very satisfying mechanics and good atmosphere. Potential for a much bigger game here.

Very cool concept, though it was rather short...

I didn't work out what the clear advantage of a barrier over a breeding morphling was, except as a last resort when attacked to create a slowing mechanism. Interesting little game though. Nice job.

Interesting mechanics make for some good gameplay. Great music and atmosphere. Three were some clipping problems that resulted in a few bugs. Otherwise, fantastic game. I'd love to see this developed further.

Cool game! A bit too bad there wasn't time to make the other 2 maps.

funny concept, the mechanic is very empowering, graphics is kinda basic for a unreal engine game, but good result overall. Maybe it just needs to be developed enough. I'd like to see more of it.

Minimalistic, but with lots of potential. Too short, though :P

The general concept is pretty simple, but there's a lot of space for more juiciness and other improvements on the game. Breeding/multiplying and making barriers seem nice, but more environments and conditions could make it more challenging! :)

Nice entry! Cheers!
