Wow very well done, I'm a bit embarrassed at how rusty my English skills are :P I really like that you give a list of words I got wrong at the end to focus on. I'd say this is educational genre done right!

This is pretty great. It gets you eager to do it right, which is exactly how an educational game should be. The music is also very enjoyable. It could still be expanded by giving the option to add words yourself, but it is already good enough as is.

Thanks to @BeardMancer and @Hyohane . Glad you both liked it.
I would like to have had custom word lists, but it was going to be too much work in the time I had (at my skill level). There is also the issue that English has so many words that are in multiple categories (I chose very specific words that only have one each for this reason). I may well expand the game in the future :)

This is a cool little game, I like the simple art direction and the ramping difficulty. It follows the theme well. I ran in browser using Chrome, and had no issues.

Great game, very fun and it follows the theme nicely. The music I thought wasn't very fitting but it was okay, and the increasing difficulty made the game more entertaining the longer it went on great job!

great game. I need to brush up on these things. :)

Your opening menu could have been the same circle screen as in game play, with play taking up half, and Credits taking up the other half. (note that "Quit" serves no point in WebGL) On windows, it could have been broken into thirds. Using the same spinning cursor. It would allow the menu to operate the same as the game, building in a subtle, but clear, tutorial.

But otherwise, this game felt near reasonable that it is polished enough for release.

This is pretty good! I can see this working well in an educational environment to teach basic English. It would be cool if you had music that would progressively speed up with the multiplier.

@pogo It must be my computer that doesn't like Chrome running Unity games then, no idea why it's got decent specs. Thanks for letting me know.

@Roka Josh I fully admit I kinda phoned in the music. There wasn't much time left when I went to add it and would have liked to integrate it better. Thanks for your comments

@Almax & @gamepopper Thanks for the kind words. I'm actually an English teacher, so this is good to hear

Nice educational speed based game. I would have liked I highscore though to keep me playing it. First attempts I didn't quite understand the controls, but then I figured out how it worked, and it kind of made sense and also made it more pedagogical that if was guessing wrong about a word, I got more attempts at it. But since it is a rather unusual control pattern, it would probably be good to have it explicitly explained in the game.

Very nice. I like how the game speeds up and encourages you to really learn to quickly recall the associations between word and type. I'd like to find something like this for math. The UI and background work well to support the concept and mechanics and don't distract from the gameplay at all. It kept my eyes fixed on the arrow and quadrant labels each time I'd finished reading the next word.

I didn't notice the audio feedback when selecting the part of speech my first time playing. It might be worth refining them a bit to make them a bit more noticeable. Maybe making them slightly louder or giving them a little more contrast from the background music? It's good that it goes with the music well and it doesn't demand all of your attention though.

Nicely done.

@Local Minimum There is a high score feature. On first run it doesn't show the high score, but after you've played once it will show the high score on the title screen. If I take this idea forward I will definitely explain the controls better. Thanks for the feedback.

@TomPK7 Thanks for the kind words :)
The audio was pretty much the last thing I did and I'm not super happy about it. I will keep your feedback in mind for the future.

Thank you for improving my vocabulary, mainly because English is not my mother tongue. Hahahahaha

Very good game, I would like an infinite path where only a sequence of errors would expel me from the flow!

It was fun to play everything was very polished (controls, sounds and grahpics). I got quite addicted to it but I'm not quite sure if i really learned something by playing it :) Anyways it is still a great game.

Loved the visual style of the game! Those particles were great. Mechanics are all very solid and difficulty ramp felt good. Overall a very polished game! I think the only thing I found myself wanting is the ability to continue playing a new round by pressing space (probably with a short delay on that being active to prevent accidental skipping) on the results page.

This is a really fun game to play. Love how it at first starts out as a game focusing on your knowledge of the English language but later on becomes more and more a test of skill and reflexes. Great combination of genres and well executed!
