I found it a bit strange the cars/enemies didn't follow the path but it works xd

Really polished (besides the main menu ig), and the graphics/music/sound worked really well. What would have been cool is to see the stats for the buildings, like the damage and such, but considering time constraints, well done!

btw the second level was a tad harder, took me a while to beat xd

Nice! I liked the artwork and the theme! The clicker aspect actually made a tower defence game pretty tense and exciting which I thought worked really well. Trying to rapidly click on jars while building a maze out of towers as fast as possible, I thought it was pretty fun!

Two concepts nicely mashed up. Good music, clear GUI and tutorial. Keep up the good work!

The way you combined the two genres was well done and I really liked the pixel art! Thought I could block off the enemies from getting to the cookie with turrets, but I like how you prevented that with the path. good job!

The sprites are nice but the gameplay I found rather dull. I liked being able to build a path to redirect where the enemies move, but that forces you to only purchase the smaller turrets.
The clicker mechanic was not fun at all. It felt tacked on; it wasn't utilized and expanded on in the enjoyable way that traditional clicker games usually are.

The art looks really pretty I liked it although i don't think the music fits the game that well, the combination was interesting but I think it could be improved, like maybe re-spawning dough or something a way to improve your clicker or something, because as it stands i feel like it just makes the game difficult in a bad way, if it weren't for the fact that you can click 2 or more jars of dough at a time with good mouse positioning it would be really hard to progress (without utterly destroying my mouse). Regardless really good job :smile_cat: .

PS: what engine or framework are you using to make games with ruby ?.

One of the better gamejam tower defenses I've seen. Definitely wish there was more to do during the game. After clicking through the dough at the start I was left to spam click on one or two towers for a good few minutes. Maybe dough dropping from enemies or something would have been a nice touch?

Overall a quality tower defense and for what there is it was executed very well.

@Strato @Q-ro thanks for your feedback! Yes, the music was something we didn't put a lot of effort on. Just found some we could use freely and put it in. We had the idea to build and upgrade turrets by clicking on them but unfortunately realized we didn't have enough time to implement it, as well as building "auto clickers" that you could slap on anything and would click every n frames for you.

We used [gosu](https://github.com/gosu/gosu). It's a really simple game engine for my favourite language.

@boats we didn't think about enemies dropping dough. That would be a nice touch indeed.

@nina Thanks for the reply, I love tower defense games so i was really bummed when i could go past lvl 4 because there is just not enough time to click on the dough and build defenses before getting utterly crushed, sad that there was not enough time for an upgrade system but hope you get around implementing it, i would say upgrading your click rate or having other source of income would be cool as well.

I keep crashing on level 3. I guess I should quit cheating with my click macro. But still. Anywho, very well done design. Not even minor gripes to go with it. I'm impressed with your work, through and through. :)

Liked the game! My only criticism is the sfx for the cookie tower shots start getting really loud if several are shooting at once. Other then that great job!

Well executed genre combination!

This was definitely one of the best ones in this LD so far. The only criticisms I have are that it's too easy to accidentally build a tower where the dough can was and that the difficulty curve is pretty steep with the second level being very difficult.

During this Ludum Dare I have realized that me and my hand really don't like clicker games :-P The game looks good, has a fun theme and plays very well. But the sadly audio is headache inducing noise and has to me muted

This was really fun. It took me a couple levels to figure out why I couldn't place towers in certain areas that seemed totally open, but I think I got it after a while. I also thought there would be more towers to unlock because of the way the GUI was structured. Overall though the art was really good and the gameplay was entertaining. I wish there were more levels but what was there was really entertaining. Nice work!
