It was enjoyable to run around and check out the lights. I'm not sure why, but I was focused on my knight's feet running around and that run animation was enjoyable to watch. And the enemy eyes coming at me in the darkness was a nice touch. You basically defend the statue in the middle from incoming enemies. If they kill you or the statue then it's game over. You can summon other knights to help defend, but it cost's your life to do so (if you have enough). Re-gain life from killing enemies which can be used to summon more knights.
