Strategy space battle? Spawning space battle? It was short and fun :v:
I liked the ship models, easy to spawn. Fighting was entertaining to watch.
I'm feel that spawning is a bit random, and would love to be able to control where you spawn ships. Would add more strategy to the game.

**Bugg** The music on the combat scene only plays on the right side of my headphones. :confounded:
Two aspects I did not like is the cooldowns(that can be easily balanced, and overall graphical quality, but for a Jam game its good)
Overall game is good with solid mechanics!
would you mind playing mine

I had fun, but I think the thing that brought this game down a little bit is the level and formation layout. The open sky, head to head battle, symmetry, and lack of dynamic movement and obstacles made it feel a little stale. Since I was always getting attacked head on, that's roughly where I would always place my ships. I didn't really get to use the sides of the level much. If you keep the current landscape orientation, maybe we could fight from left to right to better use the space?
If you decide to take this further, I'm excited to see what you make. Oh yeah, and I LOVE the art for the planes, they look incredible!
That being said, I think there should be some incentive to spawn ships outside of just along the vertical axis of the screen.
For example I really liked how I could make the enemy destroy their own ships with smart placement of my own. I also enjoyed saving the meganuke until many units clumped up and then wiping them off with one fell swoop. Having battles more spread out hotizontally would make similar choices feel more strategic and satisfying.
Too bad the CCG part did not make it to the build, but I had fun playing anyway. Good job and keep it up!
What I loved
* The artwork
* The sound effects (and music until it stopped haha )
* It was hard at first but challenging. Made me retry a couple of times.
My thoughts
* The shadow confused me really hard
* It starts so immediate
* I was a little confused as to what 2 genres you've tried to mix.
I love for you to checkout my submission!

A bit easy when you know you can summon the Ships just besides the enemy (maybe add a line of summon)

I admit I didn't read the instructions. Just clicked on an ability, told me to press on the screen or something, and I suddenly won. That without properly understanding the game.
So I decided to replay it and actually see how the game operated. I ended up having fun with the placement of ships and such. The graphics and music are good for this kind of project, but mechanicwise, clicking anywhere made it too easy. I mean, I played my few rounds, and my fastest one was still the one where I pressed around the screen without knowing what I was doing. It could have done a bit more on the tactical side. Maybe prevent units from being spawned too far from others?
Regardless, it's always good to see people make it through the horrors of time limits. [My team](twitter.com/whalesandgames) is looking forward to seeing you around on future LDs. Keep up the good work! :whale:
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.
