Whale Hunter Racing by khofez

You are driving a chariot with an unicorn taking you ahead in the air, you must avoid rocks, floating trees, the whales and aim to throw your spear at them.

This was an attempt to make a mix with Shooter and Racing game genres. Unfortunately we did not implemented the "racing" part on it, we didnt figured it out

Controls:

W or S to rotate up / down

A or D to rotate left / right

Q and E to rotate itself left / right

Mouse to aim

Mouse left button to shoot

F2 to pause / unpause

I really liked the whole stuff about floating whales and the skeleton hunter. I only wished there would be more stuff to do on the game. Nice one tho :)

My mind exploded.
This is a very funny entry to play with.
No game mechanics, nor tryharding to polish assets.. just a skeleton riding a chariot with unicorns and whales.

AND I LOVED IT.

Thanks for your work! The graphic effects were pretty amazing too.

Totally 5/5 on humor AHAHAHHA

One issue : I dont feel the "racing" part here

Was a bit disoriented at first, facing backward - where's my unicorn?!! Oh, here it is! nice to have it`s horn as aiming pointer ))

Was disoriented at first and but once I figured out the controls and goal I was having a blast. Bit like a flight simulator whale hunting third person shooter! Don't tell the whalewars people about this lol :whale2:

A good rating for you, sirs!
I love the art. The music is nice.
But, I didn't understand how the game is supposed to end and there is no real challenge.

WHOA! wasnt ready for that one, skeletors evil cousin takes to the skies to hav his revenge! XD

awesome music track & the graphics are mind blowing for the amount of time we had, the atmosphere is amazing , its like a movie! actually i wish a movie of this was made lol. on the playability side i found it super hard to control & wasnt quite sure where my shot was aiming. but wen ur a skeleton bursting thru the heavens..who cares! XD

Great art and music! The controls are great once I realized it handled similar to a plane.
One thing I would change though is increase the height you can rotate to throw the spears. The bottom limit is great since you can't really throw through the chariot, but since it's open, I feel I should be able to throw just about straight up. Great game though!

Whales, skeleton and a unicorn. What a combination. I found the whales dissapeard a lot though somehow. It would also be good if you could press a button to turbo-charge your chariot. The effects are great. I get the rotational controls but having alternative controls option for W=rotating up S=down would be great.

Very neat concept.

@mza Thanks! And you can invert the controls by pressing F2 and unchecking the "Ivert W and S" checkbox on the menu, it will work as W = up and S = down

I mean, the game is quite simple and short but damn this is funny ! Good job !

Nice little game, I had the mouse way too sensible so I rotated too fast, I don't know if it's my fault or the game is that way.

I actually played for longer than I pretended so... good job hehe

The concept is very crazy. I never thought hunting flying whales in a carriage would be so much fun. Great job.
