Great game, original idea, flawless execution. One thing though, when exiting the game, the window stays open for a little bit longer. Not sure if that's intended to save data or something, or if it's a glitch with the Godot engine. Overall, the game is great!

Got 6700 points. Blobby is really cute. :) I had trouble getting his happiness meter up, compared to food which seemed pretty plentiful.

Good concept, but the art is bland and there's no visual feedback to anything. It doesn't feel fun or rewarding to play. It's not immediately obvious what you're supposed to do or what causes you to lose.

Sadly I haven't played any tamagotchis, so I can't really judge the Theme too accurately. I do have to say that the health and food indicators are not very clear--it seems like when they're empty, you don't immediately lose--you lose after some amount of time. This means that once the bar is empty, it isn't really clear when the game will end, and you kind of have to just hope that you'll make it in time.

Hey nice work! I'd just say the meters need to be a little clearer and the platforming easier to navigate, then it'll be really good!

I'm a simple man, I see gameboy colors, I click. :D Very nice entry! I love the combination of the genres for this theme. Graphics and music fit the style and mood. Only thing I'd say perhaps looks off are the enemies and the player, since they are drawn in a higher resolution than the rest of the world. Overall, great work, really relaxing!

You managed to nail the feel of the game. It looks great, the sound is great and you definitely got the theme right. If I had to point out one flaw, it's that the game mechanics might be a little bit too simplistic but that also contributes to the game's Game Boy-esque aesthetic. I had fun with the game so good job!

I like the idea of tamagotchi/platformer, I like the music and the style. The thing is I don't understand why I die and I agree that it would be nice to have some visual feedbacks about what happend. But this is still nice :)

I like this idea of a character trapped inside a tamagochi, working like a slave to meet its needs. it would be cool if at the end the tamagochi was like a boss at the end. Like it breaks free if not satisfied. The player would have to evolve it as much as possible to get a high score.

@radmccool Haha, we actually had ideas of this floating around. Maybe if we keep working on this in the future.

Perhaps it's because I've never played Tamagochi but I've never really felt the fun. For somebody without this nolstalgia feeling, it feels a little poor.
