This is the most literal way to take the theme and it works super well. Love it dude!

I love the art style ! The UI could have used a little more work, but it's just a detail, the game is really nice to play.

Really good job, it reminds me of Geometry Wars :)

Thanks for trying the game, guys! And I'm glad it reminds you of Geometry Wars, @carlotaesca. That was definitely one of my inspirations for this idea.

Cool! Reminds me of Katamari Damacy in terms of how the player grows in to a big ball. I only managed to get to 56 pieces. One visual comment I have is that the bullets were visually very similar to the particle effects. Maybe distinguishing them would make the different easier to see for the player. Good work!

I really like this game. It was simple but fun. I did feel like it got extremely easy once you had a few shards collected, I was even attempting to kill myself at the end and was failing to do so. I like the mechanic where you lose shards later on as you get hit, but I think it needs tweaked to make it a challenge!

Nice game. Simple, yet fun, which is a hard combo to pull off. Could see it as an arcade game.

Nice game! It was interesting to have to collect enemy parts and have them stuck to your ship  In my opinion, the camera should be further away. Sometimes i was getting shot by enemies I couldn't see.

The camera was also a little sluggish when moving in the middle of the arena but as a fellow programmer I know camera issues are sometimes hard to tackle  With a little research you will get it working perfectly!

Finally, I thought that my bullets were hard to distinguish from the background so I couldn't really aim! =P

Keep on the good work!

Interesting game mechanic. I think it needs more “juice” and be more challenging.

I thought shooting with arrow keys was bit clunky. Maybe a mouse aiming could have been better solution? Also when I had around 100 pieces movement started to jerk. Gameplay plateaued for me between 100 and 140 pieces. You could have added more enemies or harsher punishments as player gets more parts, as is I could have basically continued playing for ever. I liked the simple visuals. Only problem was tiny bullets, could have been bit bigger.

The theme has been implemented in a good way. Using Enemy parts as shield sounds absolutely brutal but they're just polygons anyway, soo....

Short but fun game.

One thing that bothered me was the background of the webpage. It was hard to distinquish between the game itself and the webpage. A minimap for the enemy location would also be very helpful.

I managed to get 143, but after that I stayed under 80, whatever I do I was surrounded or surprised, and lost more than I got. It was fun to try, and I spend more time than I planed at first, so, good job. ;)

Wow I really like this game. I really think this would be cool turned into one of those mmo "io" games. I really like the idea, and think it's really cool having the shooting controlled by the arrows instead of the mouse.

My only suggestion would be to add some music and sound effects, but I understand the lack of time. Congrats!
