Edit: also is missing a UnityPlayer.dll - works with a 2017.4 .dll - I upped here for anyone missing it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9vczvxl7nesw4p6/UnityPlayer.dll?dl=0
I loved the atmosphere and the sound effects.
You managed to mix a shooter, a music game and also a platformer. Nice!
3D graphics looks polished and smooth.
I managed to find a little bug, in the second level my musician-shooter digged into the wall, and remained stuck.
screenshot attached!
Thanks for your work, one of the nicest entry in LD.
Cheers from Italy! (and if you want, play my game too, I'll be very happy!)

Very nice game, I liked it!
The jump were a bit tricky at first (but I'm probably not very good at it).
I'm not sure if there is more than two zones, but I don't know what to do next. If it is the end of the game, maybe a little message to warn the player :).
Also, I had a technical issue: my anti-virus was very reluctant to play the game, I had to deactivate it in order to play the game. I don't know why.
The idea could be developed I think, with rythm based puzzle, and maybe some "music-hell" level where you have to shoot buttons and walk/jump on platform to play the right music (melody with the shoot, chords with the platform).
Thank you :).
eventually I progressed through the 2nd room, but was getting confused as to what I should be doing. I think I was meant to play the notes in the right order... but didn't seem to work , even with lots of random tries, some confirmation sounds or visuals would've been helpful .
Nice job!
FOR ALL OTHERS.
READ THIS IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET THROUGH THE FIRST DOOR.
DON'T READ THIS IF YOU NEVER TRY IT ALONE.
I WARNED YOU. YOU COULD DESTROY YOUR EXPERIENCE.
@yohoho-games-2 In the second picture you can see this round giant button thing. You can shoot at it or you can stand on in. It gives you a hint for the right melody and in which order you have to play the notes. Try it again. :D
And for the Plattformer part I'm currently not shure if it was the best idea. Because I saw some friends which played my game and for them it was the most frustrating part in this game.
What do you think?
And thanks for the bug report. I will hopefully fix it in the next update in a few days.
And yes, I will check out your game. :)
@kevar
Well, there are currently only two levels in the game. I have something on paper but it did not make it into the game yet. I want to add some more complex sound levels to it in a few days. :)
Here you go. :)
\+ *Have you considered assigning color to the different tones there's a good reason why simon says does it. Maybe including a unique visual/gameplay element that also helps to differentiate them. (if you are building a memory based game, make things memorable)*
++ *The beam gun feels a little tacked on, something with more physicality could be more satisfying and I'd love to see what you could come up with* ^-^
So that the sound pitches depends on the height position of the crystals in the room.
But with color is also a good Idea. I try a bit at first because I think with colors it could be a bit too easy at the beginning but could help more in complex puzzles.
Thank you. :D
p.s. oh and i read your comment on the platforming, i think its a fine addition but simply needs work because it was fairly rigid to control.
I personally liked the sound memory aspect. Memorizing specific notes without any other cues (letters, colors, etc.) is something that you rarely see in most games, so it's a surprisingly fun challenge. I'd be interested to see how you could expand on the idea.
The only problems are for me the character controller who is too rough for the requested movement and the sounds for the conbinaison should be radically different.
With that the game would be really more juicy.
Am i missing something? Is this very poor end of the game or i sould i do something? I'm confused...
I liked mood though, like in the "Labirynth" (movie / book) - it was great expirience although riddles were very easy (and thats good - this is beginig of game right? :) )
Great game overall.

The visual are really nice, I liked this low poly style.
I hope you continue developing this game, with more levels and challenges.
