It could be fun and wouldn't force people to do the mapping outside of the game!\n\nI'll also add a little problem I have with the sounds in general : the little interference sounds seem intended, maybe for immersion ? But I didn't quite like them in the end...\nThen the gong sounds are not that easy to distinguish, it could use more clarity. I still love the concept of needing to listen to the audio clue, compare with the mapping and figure out your next move! I'd love a more developped game on this prototype!","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Sarrixx","author_uid":"1036577","time":"2017-12-06T14:48:33Z","epoch":1512571713,"modified":1512571713,"text":"Interesting concept for a game! I have to agree with @ehnne that the popping sounds were actually a bit intense in the end although they did add a bit to the atmosphere. And I also agree that an in-game map would be a great addition to this game. Nice entry though! Kudos!","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"rakart","author_uid":"1002838","time":"2017-12-06T16:17:07Z","epoch":1512577027,"modified":1512577027,"text":"So I finished it without pen\/paper but it was not the funniest thing.\nThe game is cool, design is really good but I feel it lacks a bit of gameplay.\n\nAudio did not bother me, it was pretty good actually. The mood was also really well done.\nI don't really see any relation to the theme.\n\nCongratulations on the entry tho !","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"SG Alin","author_uid":"1048052","time":"2017-12-06T16:46:02Z","epoch":1512578762,"modified":1512578762,"text":"it's fun.\n","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"bitsandcrafts","author_uid":"1033067","time":"2017-12-10T12:16:01Z","epoch":1512908161,"modified":1512908161,"text":"Nice mood with the graphics and audio. Maybe it's a good idea to show some interaction cursor when user focuses on red doors, also IMO character could move a little bit faster. interesting concept, but require more polishing. It doesn't feel as fun as for example Antichamber.","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"adhesion","author_uid":"1005667","time":"2017-12-10T20:15:55Z","epoch":1512936955,"modified":1512936955,"text":"Cool vibe - I like the graphical effects and the sound design, and the audio cues were a nice touch. I made it out once but the gameplay\/text puzzle weren't compelling enough to keep me playing the game. Seconding the idea for being able to map it yourself in-game, that would definitely be cool.","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Kodiqi","author_uid":"1027525","time":"2017-12-11T06:23:32Z","epoch":1512973412,"modified":1512973412,"text":"The atmosphere of the game is good, even though the graphics and audio are fairly minimal. The gameplay is quite simple, so I feel it needs something to give the player some kind of agency within the world, rather than just repeated attempts until they memorise (or stumble upon) the correct path. A game like The Stanley Parable uses the narration to do this. You could do it with text instead, as recording the voice within a jam timeframe would be difficult. Otherwise, even a tally of your failures would give the player a bit more feedback and sense of investment into the game, making them want to reach the end more.","likes":0,"format":"md"}],"format":"md","images":["ld40\/67163-f59c6bc626ff69215889e28db6781e59.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/studiokraze.itch.io\/enter-the-labyrinth-36-chambers","text":"Windows"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"38754","g_author":"1002739","g_event":"LD40","g_eventkey":"70","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"221954","g_title":"Enter The Labyrinth: 36 Chambers","g_status":"USEAR3","g_place":"996","g_commentcount":"8","g_site2_node_id":"67163","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":{"n_key":"67163","n_urlkey":"221954","n_parent":"49883","n_path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/40\/enter-the-labyrinth-36-chambers","n_slug":"enter-the-labyrinth-36-chamber","n_type":"item","n_subtype":"game","n_subsubtype":"jam","n_author":"2739","n_created":"1512432944","n_modified":"1512433558","n_version":"186425","n_status":"COMMIT"},"node":{"id":67163,"parent":49883,"superparent":9,"author":2739,"type":"item","subtype":"game","subsubtype":"jam","published":"2017-12-05T00:25:58Z","created":"2017-12-05T00:15:44Z","modified":"2017-12-05T00:25:58Z","version":186425,"slug":"enter-the-labyrinth-36-chambers","name":"Enter The Labyrinth: 36 Chambers","body":"![ETL-screenshot-001w.jpg](\/\/\/raw\/3ba\/z\/c485.jpg)\n\nEnter the Labyrinth of 36 Chambers. \n\nWill you get lost or will you persevere and succeed? \n\nOne gong equals level one.
