The mechanic reminds me of Crypt of the NecroDancer. But the mood is totally different of course! It felt like the timing got out of sync of the music after a while, but I still had fun and survived the whole time. I feel like some strategy would make the game better, perhaps have an enemy type which you have to avoid, or maybe powerups to collect, to give you objectives other than just killing enemies. Maybe some attack combos. I'm just spouting random ideas at this point, haha. Ultimately I was never able to beat the game but I got really close on one of my earlier tries. ): The music is done professionally and fits well. Seemed to require a lot of precision tho and sometimes it felt like it wouldn't register when I was sure I was on the beat. Not sure if that means I'm just bad at keeping up or if the graphics are actually not entirely synchronised with the music. Overall it was a fun idea and I think it worked rather well; just needs a little bit of fine-tuning IMO!
