Zombie Golf by RahmKota3

[raw]
made by RahmKota3 for LD 41 (JAM)

Our take on the theme was to mix a top down beat 'em up and a golf game. The objective stays the same as in the original sport: get the golf ball to the hole. But there are zombies swarming you in waves from all sides while you do that... Fight them off while trying to play the good ol' game of golf!

My antivirus blocked the exe file when I tried to open it. :(

Fun game tho! I feel like the number of zombies that spawned were a bit too many, and would also liked if the whole level didnt reset after one hit (rather multiple hits before reset)

I liked the combination of themes and the art style. Gameplay is quite fun but it took me a while to figure out that I had to chase the head while fighting the other zombies. I've also had some fps issues on Firefox.

Hehe, the second Zombie-Golf Game in this Ludum Dare.
Nice mechanics and great music.

Awesome entry, loved the art, really consistent look overall (with the exception of the "golf ball"). The music was pleasant and non-invasive. The pacing was good, and it was just hard enough to make me want to keep playing while not making it easy to advance. Would have been cool to see some more mechanics, but being a game made in a weekend, that's not always attainable! Super fun, kick ass job!

WOAH! Golf meets Hotline Miami!
Loved your game, was really fun, challenging and felt like the mechanics were really well thougt. The pressure of zombie apocalypse really boosts your swing!
All elements were super consistent with the proposal. It feels like it can become a game genre by itself.
Awesome work! 5/5

Pretty awesome, and pretty hard. The music was good for the game, had a quality to it like the music from the classic Doom games. Great job!

Man, maybe I'm biased but weird, subversive golf games are SO FUNNY.

Hilarous premise and very fun to play! Great job! My only complaint is the controls were confusing to learn at first. It's weird how the initial shot's direction is timing-based, but the rest aren't.

Very difficult but quite fun. I quite like the concept of trying to golf while running for your life from a horde. I didn't hear any sounds form the game (playing on the web version), and I think that it would have benefited from them. The only other issue i had with it was that sometimes I would get stuck running in one direction until I ran into a wall. I only made it a couple of levels in, but I like that you have at least a few unique levels. Great, fun submission.

@smilewood there is some music one of our team members made during the competition, as well as some sound effects. They might've not worked on the Web version
