After years of speculation, the government revealed they are behind the attempts to control the public by spreading chemical agents into the atmosphere.
Be a daredevil and fly your bi-plane over the hills and through towns.
Spread the de-toxifying substance around the planet!
But beware, the government is trying to cover it up and sent some nasty assault helicopters after you!

Fixes:

The plane engine audio was clicking and cracking a lot in WebGL due to WebGL not supporting low-pass filters, so I fixed that after main submission (porting issue).

Really fun game, and the art style is superb. The controls were way more fluid than I thought they would be, and the mechanic of the missiles going around the world was extremely fun to play around with. A slightly more interesting skybox would be nice, as would a different camera view. The weak point for me would have to be the sound, though that is something you can hardly ever blame a game developer for. Also, I believe I encountered a glitch where I skipped a level when I died.

Overall nice game though, and was very fulfilling to play

Interesting game, it controlled really well and looks really nice. Did have an issue where one of the farms spawned inside a rock making it an unwinnable level

Great!! Nice concept, great implementation and Lovely art! I specially loved the missiles traveling around the world!

I don't have much to recommend for improvements, probably some cool music would make a great addition!

Keep up the good work!

Fun little game. Nice to see some Procedural Generation. Crashed into a rock with a collectable above it though, not sure how to avoid that.

Very nice! The art style is really cool. The flying felt good, but I missed an extra action. It was too easy to dodge the rockets and skyscrapers, so it would be cool if you had to shoot the helicopters or something :smiling_imp:

Well done!

It's suprisingly pretty fun, but the lack of sound is feeling quiet well, so i found myself playing with a pitch that the plane makes

Fun little game! I'll echo the other comments so far in that I like the art. Was simple to pick up and a nice little challenge to master.

I really like the "c to continue" after beating the game. Seems like kind of a free-for-all. I got 15 boxes (and 8 helicopter crashes :D) my first try on that.

Beautiful planet! I think some slight modifications on the camera can give it that kinetic exhilarating feeling of going against the authority :)

Graphics looked pretty good, fit well with how the game was setup. The explosions when your plane crashed into the missiles or the helicopters was pretty amusing, nice job with that. The game could have used a minimap or some kind of indication where the next target was and where threats were, however.

A very good looking low-poly game. Unfortunately there was no music but the sound effects were pretty nice. I played it to the end. Are those levels randomly generated? Because I felt sometimes the boxes were a bit too close to the mountains to pick them up. All in all very solid entry.

@cerno-b Yeah the terrain + buildings and mountains are all generated. Unfortunately I didn't think of trying to avoid the mountains while generating the buildings so they can be quite close. The plane automatically tries to adjust its height, but if you go too fast it won't have time to climb up and you can hit the mountains.

Thanks everyone else for all the valuable feedback :thumbsup:

For me the following stand out in this game:

1. feel of flying the plane is executed well: it's nice and smooth, but direct enough to always have a sense of agency;
2. smart how you indicate where the targets are. I guess thats required because they can be on the other side of the planet;
3. Very clever how you were able to create such a nice looking helicopter with just cubes (yes, I downloaded the source project to see how you did it).

One thing that I didn't like about the game is that you die after just one hit. It feels a bit too random sometimes when a missile hits you. A regenerating shield or something to soak up the first hit would have helped me a lot.

TL;DR: Smart game!

Nice entry,
Simple game, but challenging after a while.
Evading rockets is fun :smile:

I really love the way rockets work. It could have been just the homing missiles and that would work, but this way it's far more fun. It also justifies having a small spherical planet in my opinion, in contrast to many games where it's done just for the aesthetics. One thing that confused me a bit is that you fly over most mountains, but can hit some of them. I was trying to crash during the first level and when I wasn't able to I started flying over the mountains on purpose, until I hit one. Nice game overall, good job!

Enjoyed the overall mechanic, especially that the missiles just keep going around until they hit something. Would've like better sound.

Graphics were really nice, shame about the audio bug, but I didn't find it too bad. I liked the small touches like the way the plane disintergrated when you get hit. It was really nice how the plane felt to control, having such a simple input scheme made it instantly accessible to start playing, which is good to see.

The only issue I had was the difficulty scaling, the number of checkpoints vary even when you are on the same level, sometimes adding around 5 extra checkpoints, this seems a little unfair, meaning that sometimes the level will be straight up easier than other times.

Fun little game. Sometimes it was hard to tell if I was about to crash into a mountain or building. I liked the consistent low-poly style. I wasn't sure if it was possible to divert the missile back towards the helicopters to destroy them.

Love it, especially the low poly style. The players control and movements felt really well dialed in, well done.

A surprisingly fun little flyer. Controls much better than most entries I've played. I'm also a fan of the low-poly style.
