Begind the scene:

Sorry for not adding audio or music, the time was very precious and I did not have time. Please, do not value this against, since I removed the music section to the game.

It has been very fun to make a game in such a short time. I have taken as reference games like "bubble bobble" that are played at a resolution of 256x224 and I have created the game with that base.

The idea occurred to me in just 20 minutes and from then on I started recording live to have the progress forever.

I hope you like it and do not abuse "ASD" at the same time!

really good job on the visuals. fun but challenging, maybe missing a deeper theme connection? (not that I'm one to talk) :eye:

Well done! It even has a tutorial session! Gameplay is already complete and well tuned. Though I find that always pressing asd at the same time can work hehehe. Impressive that everything is done in 17 hrs. My game also borrow some concept from tetris!

Great job! The idea is well executed. Although doesn't have sounds, the game itseft is enjoyable. It remind me to the little games that I use to play back in the '90. A lot of fun getting high scores and combos. Congrats!

Very fun, thanks! But heath of creature don't visible on box. Maybe turn it on the top of game screen, with score counter?

This was really fun to play. Mechanics are easy to learn and practice makes you better at the game, which is an important factor for an arcade game.

Really great! I love this concept. SFX and music would really put it over the top. I also noticed that you can just hit all three keys at the same time, so maybe only allow one at a time? Would just have to hit them in quick succession.

Congrats for this entry! Its a really enjoyable game, only I miss music/fxs so hard... It'd be really awesome but... Well, it's a game jam, somethimes we have to priorize because of the little time.
So again, congrats! Really addictive game! :D

Great idea, with amazing graphics and a lot of polish overall. You already mentioned it, but with some retro sound and music you would have nailed it. I hope you can continue working on it, it has a lot of potencial.

Great job!

Very cool. This is a sophisticated little game, mashing up a bunch of different existing tropes into a new, orignal whole.

It needs music!

I think I am to stupid for this game. But hey at least a few blocks got destroyed. And the poor octo got just one on his head.

The graphic style reminds me of the old NES games. It's a solid plus. But the lack of audio makes it less enjoyable and "mood-breaker-ish". You can improve the feedback of the game by screenshake or something more impressive I think. Anw great entry. Check out our game in my profile. Cheer mate

Great entry! I found the gameplay really compelling, and there were a ton of great visual details that impressed me (like the bars highlighting as blocks pass them, so on).

Game is very well done for a game made in 17 hours the graphics style is a bit old, but I sense that's what you were going for congrats.

The graphics are fantastic, they take me right back to the 1982-4 era arcade. Finish it up with some sounds, it will be worth it!

Wow, what a cool inventive entry! I like how there are lots of little wrinkles in this for those aiming for a high score. I love the graphical style, and want to give a special shout out to the game over animation, very juicy. Great work!
