If it means anything, when things starting falling I was all like "NOOO, what do I do!?!" So there's that. Better luck next time.

This could be cool. Even though its just basic cubes and shapes I didn't really notice at first. I was just like "this is a cool lofi aesthetic" I was onboard with whatever was about to happen and then nothing happened! Like if touching those cubes expanded the platform and you recorded how long you last, then you have a game!

You could still finish it for the jam!

My first two jams I never finished a game because I felt like my games weren't turning out well. Months later I looked back on the unfinished projects and they actually weren't bad at all. Don't give up!

You can try and add it the Jam section? That way, you can still participate!

You only learn to make games by trying! "Failures" aren't necessarily bad, however most people think they are. :)

Every failure is valuable lesson too. I understand it with my experience)

Failure is success in progress - einstein ! Definitely try finishing your game for the jam :) , you still have over 10 hours (considering you're not working). Best of luck !

First of all, kudos on your first submission. Even though the game is not at the polished state you desired, the idea behind it is good and fits the theme and it is fun to play.
I don't know how you implemented the rate at wich the circle gets smaller but I think it would be nicer if it was a bit slower at the start to give the player some leeway and increase the speed over time. You can do some balancing there.

@bar0net Thank you so much for the feedback! Yeah, I tried slowing it down, but once I did and tested, player can't lose. I'll keep that in mind! Thank you!

Cute game, simple which is good for an LD game. The lack of a replay button really killed the fun factor. I wish the ball responded a little faster.

@raccoon-js sorry, I'm still a newbie and this is what I could produce in the time allotted. Thank you for dropping by and playing my game. I'll try to incorporate what I have learned from this Jam to the next in December. :)

This game needs a replay or reload button because you want to try and try :) It's quite hard in this state, maybe the ball could have less damp, but I found it funny that the obstacles actually help you break and better change direction. It's a good basis and with a bit of polishing you could improve the experience a lot.

I feel like the ball is too slippery at present, especially with the speed at which the platform ends up shrinking making it tough to catch up at the end. A replay button would be nice too.
