The music can get a bit repetitive though considering each fight can take a few minutes. Maybe add some more variation to the music.
Out of curiosity. Are the 'moves' random or are they the same every time?
Would love to see a version of it in the future with more emphasis put towards the music + matching the beats of the song to the notes.
PS. What a cute splash screen logo! I love it.
@doctormozart Thank you very much for the compliments! I am ecstatic to hear you thoughts on my art, it really means a lot. Who knows, maybe this can end up being an actual game one day ;).
The beats also don't really feel like they're working with the music. It kinda feels more like I'm just watching the notes instead of playing to the beat of the song.
The art style is nice though, and it was an interesting concept.
also i would say its important to play to your strengths so maybe making a music based game wasn't the best idea :P but it would be cool to see it working with some better tracks :)
oh and i also had the issue of the screen being a little cut off on the left. playing on PC on Chrome.
I really like the idea of beat boxing and the graphics is really nice :)
For other things I guess most has been already said - the music could use a little longer loop, so it wouldn't get so repetitive. And for my taste the matches were also a little bit longer than I would like them to be, or for the arrows to come in some sort of sequences more often - it felt like it is just "press these 3 buttons, wait a while, press these 2 buttons, wait a while" and the waiting made me feel the matches were too long (too much waiting :) )
But good job overall!

VERY professional appearance, with the splash etc. Robust art direction / consistent art style. Pixels the size of your fist, that's how I like it! As a huge DDR game fan, this entry gave me a big smile. The controls are snappy and precise.
Improvements
------------
The music is the weakest part of the game, I would have expected some beats, or something. The punches themselves don't seem to add enough of a beat, sadly. People really don't like to setup and install jam games. Just give us a .zip :)
Gist

I wouldn't have thought of combining these two genres, ever. KO'd

WHAT? How did you do the cursor in the Web GL version? Teach me, senpais!
The Web GL version has slightly cut off graphics, hint - you can set the canvas size in the Player Settings in Unity, set it to something with the same aspect ratio. I have made good experiences with 720p canvases.
Same goes for the Windows build - it takes my full 21:9 screen, meaning it will prbably do poorly on everything other than 16:9. If you force the aspect ratio (by disabling all others) in the player settings, the game will letterbox instead and look the same.
Overall a superb entry!
Oh, and the boxing glove cursor was just \*kissy fingers\* :)
* Music is bad. Good music is critical to rhythm games.
* Levels feel too long, but that might just be because the music is bad.
* Game is way too easy -- I beat the entire career mode without a single mistake on my first try.
* Theme isn't very strong because this doesn't feel at all like a boxing game. This is a rhythm game with some boxing graphics, and the boxing element never impacts the gameplay.
Pros:
* Concept is interesting. If the boxing/rhythm elements were more closely combined in the gameplay, it could be pretty cool.
* Controls are precise.
LD is tough, so congrats on getting through your first one with a complete game. I hope to see you again next time.

Thank you all very much for your wonderful comments and feedback! Getting responses like these makes the stressful and sleep ruining jam worth it!
Great characters! I feel that some movement of the sprites correlative to the actions of the rythm part would add a lot of dynamism. Also, being a rythm game, the music should be more polished.
Nice work!
Good job on your game! Also, your logo is super cool! So cartoony!
