Welcome to the Grand Mewdapest Hotel! We offer the greatest comfort for cats, any time of the year, even Christmas!

You are an employee at the Grand Mewdapest Hotel, and you must do your best to take care of all the cats! Taking care of this many cats at once can be a real strain, but you must stay sane until Christmas Eve*!

*Yes, this is the real Christmas /sweden

  • Move around the hotel with [WASD]

  • Purring cats crave your attention, pat them by clicking on them with [LEFT MOUSE BUTTON] while close to them. Patting purring cats will soothe your soul and give you some sanity back! Pat them enough and they might fall asleep!

  • If you don't give cats what they want, they will grow annoyed and start scratching the floor, you must stop them quickly! Press [E] or [SPACE] or [RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON] to shout at them! But beware, you don't want to disturb any sleeping cats!

  • Some cats seem interested in the grand Christmas tree. Better keep an eye on them...

  • Please don't step on the cats, they are our guests.

Really liked the game! It's a bit easy, if I'm honest, but I must say that cats scratching all around the room did give me stress :smile: It's funny that this is exactly the experience every cat owner has, multiplied times like 15 cats. The mechanics worked well, the graphics looked great and the sound is solid. Also, thank you for being the first christmas themed game I played, it really put me in the mood. One suggestion I might have is to maybe place furniture around the room, or decrease the room size to make it feel less empty. Anyway, good job guys, I enjoyed it!

Also, +10 points for the cat puns in the end ;)

Looks polished, the movement feels a little bit clunky, it might relate to the animation.

Interesting setting, but gets a bit boring closer to Christmas. Was lacking cats' meowing and all the other sounds (especially when the hero screams and loses sanity). Also could've tried little encounters, like the mouse hunt, some kitty-celebrity checked in, etc. Overall, fun and purry.

:D this game was great. The artstyle reminded me a lot of stardew valley. Really beautiful. I don't think, that the scrolling was beneficial. Since the whole level fits on the screen, the scrolling makes it harder, to find the next spot of a cat starting to do make a mess.

The cats really started to become dicks closer to christmas and so the sanity-meter was a quite good representation of my personal sanity :D Great work!

Great one! Amazing graphics and animation. Nice fitting music too. Really enjoyed the concept, the animation when screaming at the cats made me giggle. Keep it up.

This was pretty fun. I liked the mechanics, but I would have preferred alternative controls. Analog stick + A to pet/B to shout would have worked better for me.
